Thank you so much for teaching the makeup basics 101, it's very helpful! Thanks again. You are the best makeup artist. Please show us more of your videos.
Great Video and very humorous, too! I was one of those using the brush incorrectly. Going to try your technique for curling my lashes which is a problem for me.
really good video as usual, I love your enthusiasm and creativity, I especially liked the idea of using post-it notes to demonstrate your point-really inventive and fun.
Hi Koren, I have a broken mac shadestick, the base doesn't elevate the product anymore and the product just fell off. Do you have any suggestions of how I can still use it? Like possibly convert it into a paintpot? Hope you can help :)
Eventhough one might know some of your tips - it is endlessly fascinating to watch your style and see your techniques! Oh I love you sweet accent too! You are just an ANGEL! :) Have a fab day!
Enkore I just wanted to thank you for taking the time out from your life to help women like me with make up. I know we all ask questions but I just wanted to say thanx:-) Ur AWSOME!!!
I just love your videos.... they help soooooooooo much... can you do a video on colors that are good for different colored eyes...Mine are a pale ice blue and i have a hard time finding colors that work right for me... again great work keep it up
hey I found an Italian make up brand and it's sooo good have u heard of 'KIKO make up milano' it's great!!! hahahaha try to go to the webpage and take a look!!! ahaha
yesssss now it has sound the first time I tried to watch I thought my headphones were broken hahaha anyway....love ur videos they are sooooo cool and helpful!!!! haha kisses!
Thanks Koren videos like this really help newbies, in valuable tips on things I never notice (like using the whole brush to shade makes it messy) - Please do more tips videos!! :D
SHANDOxx: Ones specified as synthetic are but in most cases they are cruelty free animal hair. Eco-tools do a good range of synthetic brushes if thats what you are looking for.
I wouldn't. The point of an eyeshadow primer is to intensify the color of your eyeshadow and keep it from creasing. Vaseline will not do that--it is clear, so that will not really help the color and it's going to crease like no one's business.
Great tips, thanks so much. I see now how I've been using the brush all wrong :) I'm looking forward to trying your technique when I put my face on tomorrow morning.
I would LOVE to go to one of your classes! You help me so much! When using the loose pigments (i.e. MAC) do you use a mixing medium? I adore this look. I do the same kind of look with pigments that I have in my arsenal. :-) Just can't thank you enough for all of your tuts!!!!
depends on the look you are going for -- if you want more intensity in the color payoff, its ideal to use mixing medium and apply with a damp brush (unless its pastel, by nature is sibtle). If you wnat a softer, more soft focus subtle look, then use dry.
Thanks so much for these tutorials!!! For a 37 yr old mom of 2 and a nurse I am feeling so much better about myself and using mac makeup has made all the difference with your tutorials! THanks for taking the time to help everyone!
hello korenn, i really enjoy watching your tutorials. I really learn a lot. Your such a good make-up teacher. Thank you for the videos...hope you'll continue sharing with us your know how in make-ups
I learnt so much just now, I remember you told me that trick about being gentle with the 239. I used to never get along with that brush, but now I know the right way to use it and I love it. Thanks Koren!
Great Video Koren!!! Happy New Year!!! Would you please do a video on how to put the colors/pigments on the brushes??? Like a demonstration on how to place the brushes in loose pigments, pressed pigments, etc? I have been using makeup for years but I don't know if I am placing the colors on my brushes correctly, sometimes it goes on heavy, too light.... Thanks for the videos!!!!!
This company sent me emails stating lies about what they put in their makeup and cheated me out of money. Not a good company
