Ok I didn't know what was going on and I still don't but I got here from strange body piercings... I actually thought she was getting a piercing but then I found out it wasn't that... still don't know what just went on...

My name is Reuben, I'm 20 years old, I have sickle cell anemia and I also have a port(on the left side of my chest). I think they are a great idea for ANYONE to be honest but especially for people who are hard to stick or like others (like me) who have diseases. I'm not going to lie though this little girl handle that like a champ! And I say that because, as a GROWN MAN, I still flinch and make funny faces when I have to have mines accessed. Lol. So thumbs up to you champ!

@katybirdkate they stick a needle into a port that is under her skin and it has a tube going into the top chamber above the heart so that the chemotherapy treatments can be done without burning up her veins. they draw blood out of it also for lab work.

@sophiajulia243 Leukemia ALL. Was diagnosed Sept 15, 2009 and just finished chemotherapy Jan 4th 2012. She has a few side effects right now but overall we are blessed.

Okay baby girl I have been through this many times! It does hurt! When I was just 3 months old I was diagnosed with Ritten In Blastomia cancer and they had to use a port to put my radiation and Chemo thru! Bless your heart for being sooo strong! <3
