When I first heard the first part of this song (Grace), I couldn't help but think it was part of Enya's "May it Be", from the Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. They're obviously different (and both are great), but they have the same feel -- until the later part of this song, of course.

Jin-Roh is the best anime movie I've ever seen, and it's songs like this one from the OST that simply justify that in every way. Nothing tops this song. It's just so moving...the last part still brings me to tears...
man... i love this song greatly.. but i think when it like comes to 2:41 it like ruins the mood that was developed by the the begining, and it just ruins the whole song to put that sort of music after the rest of it... but the song is beautiful at the begining
(spoiler) i love this piece. the film itself though is very realistic, I did think that at the end after he killed her he would kill himself also. it was very sad but, i somehow like it usually movies like this i dont like cause they depress me but yeaaa...
This is one of those animes where you COMPLETELY forget you're watching an animated film, it's such a captivating story! This was my first real anime I saw, for which I'm so glad :) thanks for this song, my favourite from the movie!
I lived in Alaska for 3 months. The first half of the music can be a perfect soundtrack if you are hiking in Alaska alone or with a small group of people.
Heart piercing song. Wish you started changing the BG picture to future the pack of wolves that appeared by the end of the movie. Specially when the song kicks into high gear at about 2:41

This music carries a lot of emotion within it. It always reminds me of a frozen winter forest with a pack of wolves howling into the night. I'm planning to use this in a few animations the studio has planned.

There are THREE parts to this song for me
