I think Dom is a better guitarist than Andy for a band looking for an English guitar player. Dom has definite shades of Clapton and Page in his playing and I think he has a better ear for how to play the earlier material. Andy savaged Warren's guitar tracks in concert and it has to do with what kind of ear you have for playing. Andy wanted to be an American rocker while Warren was Zappa and Reed. I think Dom fits in very well and has nowhere near the attitude.

Some terrific new songs and played very well. I really hope this record brings DD the accolades I believe they truly deserve. Mark Ronson knew they are a great rock band and he helped that come back out by telling this band what he knew they could be when making music comes first. They are a great band, plain and simple.

@jlgilesrivera: Well, anything recorded by mobile sounds crap. To Duran's credit, this is like only the 3rd time they've ever played this live, so they're still working out the kinks. I think it gained some momentum as they got to the middle of the tune though.

@jlgilesrivera you cant really rely on a youtube uploaded video from a phone recording ... if you ask me its simon that sounds a little flat here ... ive seen this song in concert ... this video doesnt do it justice ...

@podiumguy100 By all means, this wasn't recorded on a phone!! The sound was really dodgy at this show, particularly on Runway Runaway.
