C'est quand même rare d'entendre une composition de cette époque avec une telle intensité rythmique. J'aime.

Si quelqu'un veut me faire connaître un autre compositeur baroque avec cette énergie accompagnant d'aussi belles mélodies, qu'il me le dise ! (Je m'en régalerai)

I don't understand the one commenter's criticism that this performance is boring. This is one of the most invigorating recordings of Zelenka I have ever heard. It's not every day that one comes away with the impression that 18th-century Catholic church music could be such a swingin' good time, but this mass is an unending delight. Vaclav Luks deserves a Grammy for this.

Thanks Harmonico! Luks and 1704 are the only group that should interpret Zalenka. One would have to be dead to find this boring, and even then it would be a challenge.

I think he means the boring interpretation, the way the music was played is not effective thats what I think he meant.

But I think the music is wonderful, i have not listened to any other recordings of this piece.

Zelenka is my favourite composer!

I think, sealknebrot was one of the first, who put music by Zelenka on Youtube. Ufortunately he gave his channel up. Youtube became much poorer because of this. I remember, that he uploaded this great Miserere and the Requiem by Zelenka.

I hope, hat someone will upload it again...
