@Ejay1001 Tool assisted means that the person played the game at an incredibly low speed, so that it's mega easy. Sometimes it allows you to do things that are impossible at the normal speed. Like in a shooting game you could fire 5 times more bullets than the game would even allow you to on normal speed.

What we're watching here is the sped up version of his playthrough.

@LukeShetler As I have made several TASes already, I can tell you the difference between the two:

1: TASing includes usage of save-states, various glitches and exploits in order to complete the game as fast as possible.

2: Cheating is when one uses third-party hacks or modifications in order to accomplish feats that are otherwise "illegal" in regular gameplay.

Also, this maybe the PAL version. PAL goes faster than their NSTC counterparts.
