Saw this band literally level Queen off the stage,when they open shows for them back in the 70's

they were that good. Brian May of Queen acknowledge that Lizzy were a tough act to follow

I fell in love with the guitar when I was 6, and Thin Lizzy taught me how to play. I used to sit for HOURS figuring out ALL their songs on cassette tapes and vinyl (kids, ask your parents). I'll always cherish those memories and I'll always love this band!

I found out about Thin Lizzy by looking up "The Boys Are Back In Town" one day after hearing the song in a commercial. I had heard the song many times before, but I had never looked it up. Dedication: The Very Best of Thin Lizzy is the very first Thin Lizzy purchase I ever made. Now, years later, I also own 5 of their studio albums. I've heard a lot of their songs, and even though I would totally redo their best of, I still would put "Dedication" on it because it is one of the best songs ever.
