  • @pasigmon btw, congrats on this wonderful vid; it's one of my superfavorites without question, I think I'll showcase it on my channel. cheers

  • I love this x

  • THERE IS NO GOD

  • great job !!!

  • This rocks.

  • This was a very touching video, but there is nothing els in the world that I belive less then god, god is an escape and make you look weak.

  • This should happen more often.

Positive portrayals of people who have disabilities.

Remember, Pablo Picasso has dyslexia and was prone to depression and euphoria. Was he Bipolar too? Who knows.

  • Incredibly moving Clara! You have learned the lessons David has taught you in a profound way and your gift of language has helped all of us to expereince it as well. Thank you and never stop expressing your beautiful spirit.

  • Hello and Thank you! I am the mom of two wonderful little boys with special needs and I too, believe that there is no limit to what they can do. Your so insightful for being so young, but it gives me hope that the future belongs to all and not just the perfect few. God Bless you.

  • This was perfect. My younger brother also has Down Syndrome and every thought and feeling you have brought forth in this video is spot on. These children are sinless; they want nothing more than to love others and be surrounded by love and happiness. Why can't everyone see life through their eyes?

  • Clara, This is brilliant!! What a beautiful young lady you are. God blessed David with such a loving family - how lucky all of you are. You are so wise beyond your years. Your wish for the world is shared by so many - especially me and my special daughter. Thank You !

  • Oh WOW! Clara you are an incredible human being. How proud God must be of you! HUGS

  • This is amazing! Clara, you did a wonderful job and write/speak with the wisdom that is beyond that of many adults.

  • SO touching!

  • Clara,

That is what everyone should see in all of God's creations; a work of art solely created to beautify thw world. I have a little brother with Down Syndrome as well, and I do not know another person on theis Earth who has a more care-free happ-go-lucky attitude than he. I only wish we could all experience a day, fully with thier outlook and attitude. Great video. JL

  • Clara, This is just wonderful! I myself, was born with CP (Cerebral Palsy) and I get it. Life is a beautiful picture and more people need to see that. David doesn't have limitations. G-d doesn't allow us to be limited, G-d allows us to be as free as we can possibly be. Humanity gives us limits. If humanity were to change, then we would be limitless. You are a hero to me because you accept David. My siblings still have issues with my differences, I hope someday they will see my beauty. Thanks

  • Clara- What a beautiful essay and movie! You and David are an inspiration to me!

  • Clara, My dear, you have so eloquently captured and given voice to a multitude of parents, family members and friends who have a masterpiece in their lives.

I am blessed to have two. And they are so very different in art form and composition but share one thing: their hearts are perfect. Perfect to love and be loved and perfect to question and give grace to those they encounter. Thank you for your beautiful work. God bless you - for you are smarter than most. Keep looking the way you have been.

  • Wonderful Video! Awesome job!

  • Briliant, Weldone.. spoken so in words that are true, Everyone is difrent no matter how we look like.. the extra choromosom makes us speacial and very clever, the way how you discribe it is absoluutly fantastic.. because it is tru.. its a artwork..

all the love int he world for you , your family and all your brother..

  • Clara, It is with pleasure that I say I have meet a wonderful addition to the World that theLord has created ! Thank you for sharing your heart with the world and your teaching has began early . How you share your life will open up the views to this world . Thank you for your God given views , You are blessed and have blessed our family with your journey , Ronda & Luke

  • A brilliant film.

  • Clara -

I have the honor of knowing yet another one of God's Picasso;s. I loved your video; both your brother and you are a gift to this world. Thank you for your insight. You are gifted beyond your years, and, as all children with DS, David is given blessed eyes to walk through this world.

  • Clara, You are a beautiful work of art too! I am the mom of a child who has a disability also and I am so very proud of you. Keep pushing people to not only tolerate people who are different, but to love and appreciate them for the "wonderfully made" creations that they are. Who wants to be merely tolerated, afterall.

    With Gratitude.

  • What a beautiful piece of work. This was such a blessing!

  • Clara, I have to say that I loved your video, the way you expressed your feelings and opinion is remarkable. Your message is inspiring and at the same time educational. People will say that the two of you are blessed to have each other, I will like to add to this is that the world is bless to have people like you two, to inspire others and open our eyes to acceptance of our differences.

  • my brother is also a work of art. i give you a sincere best wishes to your family. beautifully written.

  • Extremely well written and executed! And a wonderful, deeply true message! I hope many, many people view it. Thank you!

  • I have my own little work of art, I too hope that people see that in him, and not just his differences.

Give your brother a hug from us!

  • Oh my god i dont know what to say, i have a Trisomy 21 baby who is 19 months old and wow you have made me love her even more than i do now if that is at all possible. Thank you

  • Thank you Clara. Apart from the excellent quality film... very well written, the absolute truth and so easy to listen to you speak. I also have a work of art, but like art, I don't expect everyone to be able to appreciate her. We are privileged who can.

  • Sorry for so many posts...but I watched this video, and listened to the commentary like 4 times. I cried...and I don't do that very often. That was the most heartfelt and OPEN HEARTED video I've ever seen.

I love you, Clarabelle. You rock.

  • Clara, you catch curve balls as good as your Mom. God knows who can catch those pitches.

  • Dude...I don't even know what to say. That was totally awesome.

  • clara you can see that your art for writing is incredible. i hope you continue to bless the world with your thoughts. we need to be inspired. love you

  • My sister-in-law sent this to me. My brother and his wife created their own 'angel' too, and this touched my soul. I cried. Not because of feeling bad for this child, but for feeling blessed enough to understand his/ or her beauty. Remarkable beauty in your soul for creating such an elegant array of expression on behalf of your loved one.

    ~Peace to you and yours

  • This is amazing! Your insight is incredible! You should be the World Wide Spokesperson for Down syndrome

  • Clara, your insight is truly amazing. Please continue to share your words with others. You will truly make a difference in this world.

  • Impressive message Clara!! I will be posting it on my blog as a tribute to you and your inspiration, your brother David! Your parents have been so blessed!

  • Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your story!

  • I am the mother of a special needs child and this touched my heart. I found it originally on another blog. I am going to share it on mine, and hope that it makes it around the world and touches all hearts and makes a difference. Well done Clara!

  • Beyond belief - thank you on behalf of my son and my family. More people need to see this.

  • Absolutely beautiful video. Thank you! I hope everyone will see and understand this!

(Mom of Grace, age 7, with the "extra")

  • wow Clara! This has to be the best interpretation of inclusion and acceptance and love for some one with Ds, or any disability, I have ever seen. How insightful you are at 13! What a beautifully written peice. Your brother is lucky to have you for a sister, and you're lucky to have David.
