Which university are you studying right now? I am taking pre-requisites at a community college for the nursing program at Arizona State University. I strongly agree with you, letter grades of C will put your GPA down that is why I keep on studying to get As and Bs ☺

Talking about CCCCCCCCCcc last semseter I got a C in Phsycology and my GPA drop from a 3.4 to a 2.O and now I'm really worried that I will getting another C in Sociology even though I have no one to blame, but myself for not taking my studying more seriously...my question is, if I do get another C should I retake both them over to improve my GPA even though I have A's & B's in all of my other classes....that way I can having a better chance of getting into nursing school...what do u think???
@Taxminia0311 Hey I know how you feel...believe me C and really mess you up, but here in Florida if you have a C in a class its considered pass so you would not be able to retake that class. The only way that you would be able to retake a class is if you get a D.F. or W. Also if you have C in a class you can only retake it at another school. I would suggest that you talk to an academic advisor at your school to see what is the policy on repeating classes. If you can GO FOR IT !!!..
i am 17 years old and am getting my associates degree this friday, yeah im young its a long story. but i have a question that i would really like for you to answer for me. I have all A's in my science classes, but i have a c in chemistry. I have an A in anatomy 1, and i believe I am getting an A in microbiology, but i think i am going to get a B in anatomy 2. what do you think my chances are at getting accepted? it would really help me alot to have your feedback. thank you
@siere Honestly its hard for me to say it depends on your school and how they accept students but if its just one C its not a big deal but try to keep your grades up.
@clarkallard Thats great keep up the good work. I am Floirida and my school did not have a wait list. My school has 3 different campus which takes 90 students 3 times a year. The way they pick students is based on the highest GPA and entrance test score.

I scored C+in API. I just retook it a year later and got a solid B+. Also have A in freshman comp, psychology an A, and starting APII soon.
