2. Read howto.txt and find your DeviceID in the registry and change the DeviceID.txt in step1 and step3 folders.

3. Now run step1.bat. This will update the phone firmware to R1EA018 S0-O1B.

4. After flashing, remove the battery and wait for 5 seconds.

5. Replace the battery and reboot the phone.

6. When phone is running again activate USB-Debugging.

7. Do a factory reset (recommended).

8. Then run step2.bat. A popup menu should appear.

It messed up my phone! it messes with software, i have to send it to Sony Ericsson for repair now, cuz as you see here is no support, you mess it up u r on ur own.

It deleted my keypad, i can not type now, that means no texting, no saving new contacts no connecting to WiFi (with password). - basically any where you are using keypad.

It won't recognize your phone, so specify the X10 in the 'Please select phone model' page.

Now connect your phone as the instructions say (in 'flash mode' by holding the back button while connecting the USB cable), and your original firmware will be reinstalled. Enjoy.
