  • ibphilly... you are so correct. When I heard this song I said that he was up there in the same league with Pavarotti. They will never be replaced. Their voices were phenominal. They must be singing together in Heaven now. 2/21/2012

  • Je suis fan de Roy depuis 45 ans, il me fait toujours vibrer autant avec sa voix jamais égalée à ce jour, bravo l'artiste trop tôt diparu !!!

  • Another fine example of his amazing voice and no handballr15 there is no music being produced like this now because the legend is gone but will never be forgotten.

  • I thought that this was the Liverpool F.C. song (i'm a Liverpool fan) is great and i love it.

  • It's Only Obvious why they called him the BIG "O." Thank You Roy Orbison. Your Music will live forever! AMEN!

  • sums up exactly how I feel

  • yes a great voice....

  • What a voice this man had.I still miss him after all these years. He had so much tragedy in his life, yet he kept going, and just got better and better.I sure miss you,Roy.

  • Another timeless performance from the most brilliant, compassionate, indescribable talented singers of all time! My gosh, this man puts through such depth and feeling. Roy was gifted from God to have the voice that he had and was able to share his talent with the world. The Big "O" has given us a lot of joy.The emotion he places forth with his BEAUTIFUL voice can bring us to tears, therefore it means we don't have to keep everything bottled up - our feelings are poured out

    Thanks for posting!

  • @spiritofthepairies You're welcome, thanks for commenting!

  • @spiritofthepairies I must say, your comment is very impressive. You obviously feel the same about Roy as I do. Keep the magic of this music alive. It still lives inside many of us. Cheers to you.

  • wspaniałe warunki głosowe ta czysta barwa głosu i możliwości 2 czy 3 oktawy wspanaiły ballady a tak niegoceniany ale jest wielu którzy do dziś go kochają z muzyke która nam zostawił

  • I once read that there were only 2 tenors in the 20th century who could hit an E above high C--they were Enrico Caruso and Roy Orbison. Pretty good company for the big O :)

  • Comment removed

  • Wow -- remarkable. I compared the last 20 sec of this with the last 20 sec of Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma and was amazed. They both hit and hold a high C coming down from a D.

  • @lbphilly Fascinating comparison!

  • roy at his best play it over and over

  • A little too much vibrato...

  • Sorry for being so blunt ,but when i hear the rubbish that is churned out today ,i cant help but think of roy what a fantastic singer he was ,my only regret is that i never saw him live,

  • well you cant see him at all if your deaed.

  • Saw this Roy in concert 3 times. He was so excellent and this song is evidence of the depth of that talent - the flow of voice and the Orbison "sound". Spine tingling.

  • Serious question: is there any "pop" music being recorded TODAY anywhere close to the quality of this?? If so, please let me know so I can buy it!

  • Not that I know of, it's pretty abysmal today, based more on electronic special effects with a beat rather than pure singing, instrumentation and talent.

  • @ILoveJenni47 , No none at all.

  • In a word ,NO

  • @rayleighlion

That's exactly what I was afraid of!!

  • @handballr15 I wish there was but unfortunately it is gone forever. Music is a reflection of the era we are living in and unfortunately, this era is filled with nothing but meaningless technology. Thankfully we still have these recordings to enjoy. Roy had the best voice on the planet. He will never be replaced.

  • a sensational song by a pop hero !

  • The Voice of GOD? I think not. But the voice of an angel, without any question.

Of all the songs performed by the Big O, this is a stand out alone fantastic song.

    Ty to the poster. Vik

  • You're very welcome! :)

  • NICE! Never heard this before, thanks for playing it for us! Gave you a high rating and favorited it!

  • Thank you!

  • This song takes my breath away, especially the ending! The Big O - The King Of Hearts! The Voice Of God! Miss you Roy.... tears..

  • dit is, ongetwijfeld, het meest

    gevoelige nummer dat ik ken.

ik moet bij dit nummer mijzelven echt

    inhouden. Roy, thanks !!!!!

jij wist waar je het over had !

  • in my view, the greatest of roy's songs!!!!

  • fantastic music roys the best

  • yes you're right!!!

  • Great song by a great singer. Should have been a smash hit.
