@MoveOverCasanova At first I didn't understand what you mean but now I know. I didn't use any delay but I first press the full chord with my right hand and shortly after that I use my thumb to hit only the lowest note of that chord. I repeat this for a large part of the song.
Amazing job, your playing is great - this song will forever hold a place in my heart. I remember hearing the original when I was a kid and didn't understand it at all, but I loved the music. When Donna Summer released her incredible version of it back in 1978 I was 15 years old and then fell in love with the lyrics as well as the tune. Her version is awesome, it makes the hairs on my neck stand up!
@leopoldomarcialochoa Thanks! Uptil now I didn't get the time to record parts 2 & 3. It takes a lot of time to write the chords down. It has also been changed a lot since I wrote it down for the first time.
nice.very nice. been a while since i last listened in on your vids but you still blow me away.thankyou for the memorys that this song evokes in me.keep on posting your work my friend.
the version i remember was by,i think, the supremes or another disco/motown girl group from the mid to late 70's.i was about 8 at the time and summertime was a beautiful thing back then.
I can imagine English or American people noticing something charming about my English accent. Just like me listening to people who are from outside the Netherlands trying to speak Dutch.
Really lovely. I am old enough to remember the original by Richard Harris. I was Really touched by it then (about age 12) and still am. Thank you

If I were an angel, I'd find my softest moon beam, sit down, relax and enjoy the heavenly sounds.

@gingerman1963 Thanks! Donna Summer reached #1 in America's Billboard list with her version. Richard Harris reached #2 in the end of the sixties.

Thanks! The song is from 1968, I wasn't even born then. But my parents owned an album, a compilation of sixties songs which contained this song.
