It was abandoned by the mid 70's. PNP (People's National Party) and JLP (Jamaican Labour Party ) were the political parties. Max Romeo of Black Art Studios was an ardent PNP supporter. The mid 70's brought about a severe economic crisis to the island. You are who you are. Roll with it.
