  • SUPER MUSIC LEE PERRY

  • DUBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!

  • If I were to ever take up Reggae music production again, it would be strictly dub music. It doesn't take a lot and people love the artistry of dub. I just love dub, it was the very best of my growing up in Jamaica.

  • VAN' DUB

  • What is the effectects processor he is using at 3:07?

  • @sowatyawant , don't know, I'm not a musician.

  • @cinemadigerati That the key to his whole thing he does. I think it is some kind of processor but I am not sure thanks~

  • @cinemadigerati Its the key to the whole thing he does~Really cool video for the song where did you get this?

    Thanks~

  • @sowatyawant , put together about 60 clips from video tape.

  • @cinemadigerati Are they clips from personal/raw footage. I love seeing Lee in the studio during that era.

  • @aaaaaa970 , No the clips are from late 70's reggae films on videotape.

  • @sowatyawant so do you know what it is?

  • @MattyStevensonBishop, a compilation

  • @sowatyawant I know. I think he was talking about the effects processor, no?

  • this is THE.SHIT.

  • Thanks for uploading !!!

  • this is a wicked video, why on earth was i born white, english and in the 90s when i couldve been born black, jamaican and in the 40s and grown up with all this. what does amc stand for

  • @louiecostello, AMC stands for for Agricultural Marketing Corporation which was a state run trading organization founded in 1963 with a mandate to provide a guaranteed market for small farmers produce. It was abandoned by the mid 70's. PNP (People's National Party) and JLP (Jamaican Labour Party ) were the political parties. Max Romeo of Black Art Studios was an ardent PNP supporter. The mid 70's brought about a severe economic crisis to the island. You are who you are. Roll with it.

  • @cinemadigerati "you are who you are. roll with it" -- wise words

  • @louiecostello This is a pretty dumb comment. Look at the poverty in this video, whats not shown is the brutal violence that swept the island around and after this time. Be careful what you wish for, stay in school.

  • After hearing some profound crap, clowns around here call dub, it is good to know that LSP is permanent. Permanent classic, the best rhythms, most inventive. Timeless the best.
