  • a great video. thanx

  • times when people were honest...streets were clean..and skys were blue

  • wow, a real eye opener

  • Those trolley buses were donated by Chinese Government.Nepal was the first among SAARC countries to operate those kind of buses!!

  • @maxidrom75 Yes the Chinese givernment wanted to keep Nepal on side regarding Tibet. Tibetan insurgents had been based in Mustang in Nepal and many Tibetan refugees settled in Nepal.

  • The number of vehicles in those day were so less. Wish Ktm would go back in time. People have ruined my beautiful place. I want my kathmandu to be peaceful and healthy again....

  • we wnt back of king.....

  • whoa classic movie hereko jastai lagyo!!

    hahahahah!!

    so peace in ktm..!

wish it was stable till now!!

  • Classic footage. Without Trolleys Kathmandu would have been a boring capital place. I was born in Kathmandu in 1977. I still have those memory flash back of old Kathmandu. They were the best time of the life. I want those old Kathmandu back.

  • Noisy Kathmandu.

  • Really amazing!

But in Hungary, the Ziu 9 trolleys started service in the mid 70ies, and now they still operating, there's more than 30 on the streets of Budapest, a few in Debrecen and in Szeged

  • well done Kathmandu ... at the time this video was filmed we had lost our last trolleybus system 7 years ( Bradford in 1972 ) .... but there are at last signs that our next system in Leeds may start in 2011 ! xxx
