Lime and limpid green, a second scene / A fight between the blue you once knew. / Floating down, the sound resounds / Around the icy waters underground! :)
This is my next pedal! Hey Andy can you tell us the dimensions (in mm - if that's okay). I've emailed retro sonic about the dimensions and had no luck.
Is there anyone out there who has spent time with both the RetroSonic AD and the Diamond Memory Lane II? Could you offer a comparison of the tone on each of these units? I'm aware of the features, but I would like some indication of how these units compare tone-wise. Thanks...
Im between this and the seymour duncan analog delay, I loved the way the retro-sonic sounds, but I like the features in the deja vu, but i can't see no pros or cons between them ,any help anyone??
I've had both, kept the retrosonic. That Seymour is a tone wrecker. In the PGS demo, the seymour is in repeats mode (Not True Bypass), so you cant tell how bad it thins out your original tone. It's a POS. It trashes your dry signal. Sure you could tweak your entire rig around it if you're going to leave it on all the time... (That's the sonic equivalent the the hairstyle known as the combover.) You'll end up with sismilar results.
I've never played with either but consider the fact that it's max delay is 600ms. That is not, very long at all. I love how it sounds but I wouldnt get it for that reason alone, with or without tap tempo/modulation etc....
I have had this pedal for a week and so far it is the tits. Nice warm delay. No noise at all. The long/short feature is sweet. I been wanting a delay for awhile and when I saw this pedal and read some reviews, I figured why the hell not and so far so good, even though it has only been a week. We'll see how durable it is in a few months.
I've been using this unit live for three months now. It sounds incredible. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't need more than 600ms. With the exception of the old tape-echoes, this is the warmest, most articulate delay I've ever heard. Worth every penny.
SO MUCH FLOYD! I LOVE YOUR DEMOS<3

It's an ANALOG delay. They're all short. Analogs sound better than digitals. The trade off is delay time. Many pros use one of each on their boards.
