  • "It's the old Potomac two-step, Ryan"

    "Sorry Mr President...I don't dance"

  • haha this movie makes the CIA look like good guys

  • Anne Archer is one fine piece of 90s ass.

  • "The chicken is in the pot. Over."

  • @Skiergold cook it

  • I've always loved how dramatic this trailer announcer always souded

  • one of my favorite movies

  • Jack Ryan is one of my favorite characters in books and films. Only Harrison Ford - could as well play this role!

    Good trailer! Good luck!

  • Some people say the most dangerous threat to America is America.

  • holy crap...they def don't make movies like this anymore...HOW DARE YOU SIR!!! still get goosbumps

  • How dare you!

  • I agree the entire series was teriffic, I think this one was nothing you would have expected don't even try to think ahead because you'll get lost.

  • Not bad

  • good movie

  • I like the scene when Ritter seats in his office, eats a carrot and says "BUM"! :D

  • Instead of rebooting Jack Ryan again like they're planning, can't they just bring back Harrison Ford like he wants to and do another sequel, perhaps with Ryan as president.

  • @SLPIFan I really want them to do Dead or Alive, but it wouldn't make sense without the prequels.

  • wheres captain america?

  • airsoft gi?

  • I wonder when they will make rainbow six and ghost recon.

  • @ghostrecon3456 lol hell ya! id like to see dead or alive made into a movie!

  • @DixiePrepper indeed would love to see a red storm rising movie too.

  • @ghostrecon3456 they should just make anything with a tom clacny name on it into a movie!!!!!!

  • Whats the music in the background? NEED IT BAD!!!!

  • One of the best novel adaptions ever made

  • "I DARE YOU, SIR!!!"

  • @danggi2 i dare you? its how dare you, lol. i dare you doesnt even make sense

  • tom clancys the best

  • I'm pretty sure this is my favorite movie of all time. Of course it doesn't hurt none that it came out the same year I was born.

And just for the record, Ford might have been older than Ryan was in the novel, but his performance was, hands down, the best of all the Clancy movies. Harrison Ford will always be Jack Ryan to me.

  • Such a great movie. One of my favorites.

  • Itsn't there a second version trailer and I think reel.com use to have it. When they were around during the early years of the web. This one I never saw till the DVD days, that version I think was attached along before the start of Forrest Gump in theaters back in 1994. Anyone know where I can find that version. It starts with showing the Coast Guard Cutter and not the President saying stuff.

  • what a fantastic political thriller... too bad they had to cut off so many great things from the book... so jack ryan universe would make a great tv series...

  • does ANYONE know the name of the music piece that starts at 1:29?

  • @pileosheet It's "Fire In a Brooklyn Theatre" from Come See the Paradise. (Randy Edelman) Heh, I remember a time when I was trying to figure this one out, too.

  • @Drowlight Thank you so very much!

  • @pileosheet Anytime. Glad my powers were able to help someone for once. :)

  • A very bad movie. Ford was far too old to play Jack Ryan.

  • @JuanMacready

So what? Roger Moore was far too old to play James Bond and that bastard still played James Bond! Also who did you want to replace the Alec Baldwin Jack Ryan back then? William Baldwin? Stephen Baldwin? Tom Cruise?

  • @JimmyBond00912 The talentless racist Moore was already far too to play Bond when he started. I hope he dies soon.

  • Quick! PRINT SCREEN! PRINT SCREEN!

  • best movies to turn into books: rainbow six, without remorse, debt of honor

  • @TheOldcountryboy And add to that list Executive Orders.

  • l read the book l believe the story is well explained there. Although the movie is not that bad at all..

  • The book was infinetely better, this film sucked.

  • one of my favorites in the movie:

    "How dare you, sir!!!"

  • They might be making one about Without remorse... One of his greatest books

  • Out of all the actors portraying Jack Ryan Ben Afleck was the worst

  • Willem Dafoe should have put his green goblin suit on. Then there wouldn't be so much drama.

  • i wanna see RED STORM RISING... Hope they make some (dunno if there is already tho) all of his (Clancy) works are awesome... a must read art.. really it is...!

  • saw this movie for the first time a little while ago. its really good!

  • whats the name of the song at 1:30 to the end?

  • In this Movie the NSA/CIA listens to all the phone calls in south america for the Speech Print/ Voice print of the intel guy assasin for "Pablo Escabar" using only "the machine is on Myra". This is how THEY (phone Co. and Clandestine services & even P.I.s) know all of your known associates by voice print and content recognition software (for radio & TV ratings) by listening in with computers to your phone microphones...

  • Love this movie! Is it perfect, no. But even it's inperfections are fun. Great action, score by James Horner, it's a rollar coaster ride! A movie you can turn off if you are switch channels on your TV!

  • Never read this one...

  • @AwkwardTurtlev2

    Its great!

  • good movie

  • Both the book and the movie were kick#%&.

  • does anybody know the song that starts at 1:28? i've heard it during an intro montage for super bowl xxx as well.

  • @MattyVfromCT It is from the "Come See the Paradise" soundtrack by Randy Edelman. The title is "Fire in a Brooklyn Theatre".

  • they don't make movies like these anymore.. most of the movies that comes out now sucks bigtime!

  • @Ryancuasay movies back then sucked too

  • @Ryancuasay Tom Clancy action novels they are

  • @Ryancuasay not all of them movies like shooter and resident evil are badass !!!

  • @Ryancuasay that's because they don't make Clancy movies anymore :(

  • 12-26-2009. Happy Birthday, Donald. I have seen some of the shows that you have been in. May you have a good day today. Many happy returns.

  • exellent movie!!

    Nothing more close to reality!!!!!!!!!!!

Now you, (you know well to whom I talk about with "you")they come by more..

why does not exist many harrison ford in this movie...

  • Comment removed

  • they need to make more films from clancy books. id like to see one for rainbow six, or without remorse. im actually reading clear and present danger right now...

  • hey man, I totally agree with you on that. I'd love to see someone do some justice to Mr. Clark. That motherfucker's badass to the bone.

  • "Its the old Potomac Two-Step, Ryan"

    "Sorry, Mr President...I don't dance"

  • @wrath231 ahahah that was the best line in the movie

  • Can someone please tell me who the guy in the glasses at 1:41 is?

  • Henry Czerny

  • Ha, and now this is so true, drug dealers are even more dangerous than islamic fanatics. But who cares, every one wants basic liberty, every one hates NSA work and feds.

  • it is true that drug dealers are mor dangerous than islamic nationalists. Tom Clancey's book hits that on the nose. read it, its really good!

  • How dare you come into this office and bark at me like some little junkyard dog? I am the President of the United States! lol!

  • In the actual movie, there's a scene on the tarmac where soldiers are playing trombones during unloading of coffins (see around 1:08 in above clip). Does anyone know the name of the short instrumental? Thanks

  • If I remember the piece correctly it's Dvorak, 9th Symphony ("From the New World") 2nd movement (Largo). You can find a clip of it on Youtube.

  • It's called "Goin' Home" - I was able to download a free copy from the USAF band's website a while ago.

  • Wow, your a confused messed up little man

  • Delta, the Soviets don't exist anymore...and you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • tom clancy the maestro

  • The music is called A Fire in a Brooklyn Theatre. It's off the Come See the Paradise Soundtrack by Randy Edelman. Good tune used in alot of trailers.

  • Thanks for the info!

  • Great movie, but can anyone tell me what music is playing from 1:28 onwards?

  • Best Book Ever!

  • This films on Film4 at 9:00pm on Sunday. Watch it!

  • best film ive ever watched. i love it, it gives me power. " you see everything in black in white" "no not black and white, right an wrong".

  • Anybody can tell me what music was used in this trailer, please? What sountrack?

  • This trailer features music from the soundtrack to Patriot Games (also by James Horner), most notably at the start, the trailer to Patriot Games (John Beal), and Come See The Paradise (Randy Edelman)
