Jimmy has actually matured a lot as a host. When he first started off, he seemed nervous as Hell, just like he seemed on SNL sometimes. He has gained SO much confidence that he is definitely worthy of carrying his own show now. I don't see why people think the guy isn't funny, I find him hilarious.

JF is a likeable guy, he does a the monologue well (though the joke writers could use a little improvement) and he does a good interview. The band is great. But the adult Roper-Room crap has to go. Beach balls, silly string, nerf: WTF??? It looks like some of the participants are having fun, but who really wants to watch that stuff. Conan could get away with silly sketches because he would make subtle digs about it the whole time, but JF seems to think this stuff is cool. It isn't.
Even conan could not get away with this stupid shit. All conans bits are grounded in very strong comedy rather than fallon who seems to be under the impression hes running an oddball gameshow.
What? Really? He has the most awkward interviews i have EVER SEEN. The audience is absolutely silent for most of the show. Some of it isn't his fault, because some of these sketches are just a hot mess. But still...he needs so much work.

Letterman is a true broadcaster.. a great interviewer, a quality late night host, by FAR the best. Leno is a comedian.. good monologue, but a HORRIBLE interviewer... he's very awkward with one on one interaction. Conan is primarily a comedy writer... he's limited at stand-up and he's an ok interviewer, but spends too much time trying to steal the spotlight and laughing at his jokes.Fallon is a f'cking joke, as is carson daly. Jimmy Kimmel has promise, he's a throwback to the classic hosts.

After watching a few episodes of Late Night I have not laughed ONCE. I swear, NOT ONCE. And I've watched about 5 episodes or so. I've actually cringed more. And Jimmy has this tendency to either slur or mumble most of what he says, especially during the interviews, and sometimes nervously blurbs things so fast that you can't understand what he's saying.
I agree on that one for sure. On SNL I thought Jimmy did some alright imitations but he is no way original on Late Night. The reviewer in this video commented on Jimmy's "quick wit". HUH?! WHAT WIT?! Jimmy never EVER has any zinger replies or anything, he just asks pretty simple questions, agrees with the guests, and fake-laughts in a boyish, 12-year old manner in hopes that he seems interested in what the guest is talking abouts. Words can't describe my anger at NBC!

Wrong, dumbass. The Best Of DVD was released in 2005. Jimmy Fallon is awkward and has always been awkward, that's his personality. Conan isn't awkward, he's just insane. Long before Conan there was a show called The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson. In this show, someone named Jay Leno acted as a co-host, which essentially equates to the role the announcer interaction plays on the show. It's been an NBC tradition. You really are an idiot. >__>

JF is a likeable guy, he does a the monologue well (though the joke writers could use a little improvement) and he does a good interview. The band is great. But the adult Roper-Room crap has to go. Beach balls, silly string, nerf: WTF??? It looks like some of the participants are having fun, but who really wants to watch that stuff. Conan could get away with silly sketches because he would make subtle digs about it the whole time, but JF seems to think this stuff is cool. It isn't.

Actually, if you have watched as of late, Fallon has really improved, I enjoy him. I admit he was awful at first, but this month has really been good to him. And as for Conan, I agree he's always great.

Letterman is a true broadcaster.. a great interviewer, a quality late night host, by FAR the best. Leno is a comedian.. good monologue, but a HORRIBLE interviewer... he's very awkward with one on one interaction. Conan is primarily a comedy writer... he's limited at stand-up and he's an ok interviewer, but spends too much time trying to steal the spotlight and laughing at his jokes.Fallon is a f'cking joke, as is carson daly. Jimmy Kimmel has promise, he's a throwback to the classic hosts.

After watching a few episodes of Late Night I have not laughed ONCE. I swear, NOT ONCE. And I've watched about 5 episodes or so. I've actually cringed more. And Jimmy has this tendency to either slur or mumble most of what he says, especially during the interviews, and sometimes nervously blurbs things so fast that you can't understand what he's saying.

I agree on that one for sure. On SNL I thought Jimmy did some alright imitations but he is no way original on Late Night. The reviewer in this video commented on Jimmy's "quick wit". HUH?! WHAT WIT?! Jimmy never EVER has any zinger replies or anything, he just asks pretty simple questions, agrees with the guests, and fake-laughts in a boyish, 12-year old manner in hopes that he seems interested in what the guest is talking abouts. Words can't describe my anger at NBC!

I wrote a review on my friends blog (forgot the site u.r.l.), but I must say this is not good at all. Why? because Jimmy does not have the personality the people want. If people can't tell how much $ is-being spent on this show just to be funny, Your dumb-asses. I swear like 20 people are guests every show, Skits are child's-play, Animations, Generic All-Over Show-Rating** stars-out of 5. I'm to nice to give 2 stars, the fact nothing is good about it. i kind of feel bad for Jimmy Fallon he isnt doing as well as the exec's thought he would he lacks so much and it seems obvious in his presence that he is timid and that doesnt do well for a talk show host, maybe as time goes by he will become more comfortable but i have doubts about that happening.

Here are few things i find wrong with him.
1. I dont understand him when he talks i think he talks too fast. Conan, Leno and Letterman are easy to understand, their delivery is clear.
2. He doesnt know when to interrupt his guest when their talking. He interrupts too often (like Ferguson)
3. His laugh is very childish.
Thats all i wish him luck. I hope he gets funnier.

Actually it was Lorne Michaels who gave Conan his break, not Letterman. Letterman later gave Conan a ratings boost when he agreed to be a guest on Late Night.

People love Conan, Lettermen and Jay because they are completely original and they have there own personality. But i think most of us can agree that Fallen can't even compare with these guys.

Make the suck SO insufferably bad while everyone is already pissed about Conan's departure, and still indifferent to Leno.
Within weeks of O'Brien's taking helm of Tonight Show, network will cite 'poor ratings' of Late Night, drop Fallon and roll out McHale as 'new host' - although he's already been tapped. Ratings soar and corporate sponsors roll in.
