Well I have done lots of research on touch scrn phns and I bought the 5800, I am very pleased as I am very fussy with my tech stuff and I am so pleased with the phone, LG's are buggy, Samsung dnt seem to be reliable, HTC seem pretty good, The 5800 has awesome apps you can add and the response on the screen is very good, Once you update the software it is very responsive.. Buy one! Im glad I did..

Just did some research as well and found out a friend of mine already had the Nokia and it's great phone.

I ended up choosing the HTC Magic and I'm very happy too :D Same deal as the Nokia: many (often) free apps and games and I also rooted and flashed my Magic and have the HTC Hero ROM running on it..7 homescreens lots of great widgets and more coming, I love Android OS :D

I'm already looking forward to the end of my contract in 2 years to see the phones then.. :P

nokia 5800 is cheaper and it's pretty good. n97 is kinda the same phone but with better camera and real keyboard what's pretty good i guess. n97 have also very good and bigger battery. but 5800 is good too (much better than in iphone)

yes it does, thats the only problem. it lasts very long for mp3s and camera, but with wifi it doesn't last very long.

actly u can customize the wifi setting, power down the TX power level to 10mW, then enable power saving option. that will improve the battery life slightly better then b4, but there's a catch, the download speed will slightly slow..:)

it doesn't come in silver.. N97 comes in silver.. texting is easy on the 5800.. set the vibration when you press any part of the screen.. helps with smsing.. alpha numeric is the easiest..

Got this phone a few weeks ago. Finaly got rid of that iphone that had been buggin me for ages and that also cut a huge chunk into my wallet.

Once you have got used to it is a very good well build phone. Loads of apps coming out everyday it seems.

This phone has the Frequency of 850/900/1800/1900 MHz which is T-Mobile's Frequency. If you look at the specifications of a phone like the Samsung Behold, the frequency is exactly the same. So its a BIG hint that this phone might come to T-Mobile... But thats what i think

TMobile doesn't get reception in my area, but they are trying to improve so hopefully by the time 2012 hits, they will have service here, and I will go with them, they do have cheaper plans.

Verizon has taken over Alltel, so if they get it then I will get it seeing as I am with Alltel.

Here in The Netherlands you can even buy it unlocked straight from Nokia's website for € 379,-. No contract that is. With a contract for 1 year you can even get it for free here and pay 35 euro's a month, including flat-fee internet. (T-mobile that is) .

I think T-Mobile will wind up picking up this phone since it picked up the previous XpressMusic models, but you can already buy it unlocked in the US.
