What's this talk about AP courses on a starcraft video?

Tbh AP courses depend on what kind of school you go to, I'm sure a lot of schools that offer AP courses don't actually give the college courses, just a faster paced curriculum and some tougher exams.

And I just love how he played Zelda's lullaby :3

@omgwtfitsjesus1 AP is no where near the difficulty of college courses. In an AP class, you get an entire year to do what you do in a semester. In fact, AP courses usually cover less than your average college course. Furthermore, the entire class revolves around doing well on the AP test at the end, so it's a fairly strict curriculum.

Well, AP art history - my teacher was an alum of my private HS and a rich fuck.

he collected art for a living and loved teaching kids about things he was passionate about.

even though the class made sure to educate and appease any worries about the AP test, it was the most fun and engaging class I've ever had.

Our final juxtaposed that song "Cocaine" with a piece of art, among other "art" compare and contrast essay questions.

my highschool was actually amazing. Philosophy all 4 years, and I've had 6 semesters including it in college so far.

Philosophy should be a requirement, we have too many people "graduating" who don't even know how to think.

@Assaultpredator Also, I would like to add, that I didn't say anything bad about being a philosophy major. Personally, I think its a great spring board for a graduate degree or law school. In math/science, you do TONS of critical thinking with proofs. Even in engineering, its all about problem solving and programming, which is essentially application of mathematical logic and cogni sci.
