@shatowboy I find them to be great carrier/battle cruiser/guardian killers due to their powerful anti-air attacks and decent durability, I personally favour them over corsairs in most situations.
the only thing corsairs are good for is countering clumped mutas and disabling defences, which reavers coupled with shuttles do a better job at disabling defences anyway ¬.¬
@CerberusT93 Alright, but scouts are slow and sluggish, and have small range until you upgrade them, while corsairs are fast reliable scouts in the early/mid game. They are very useful in PvZ by being a early threat to the vulnerable overlords and a danger to clumped mutas. Using scouts to counter the bcs/carriers are also not that useful I find, since they are usually slow and very vulnerable to psi storm and archons.

@shatowboy eh... both have their pros and cons; Scouts are great for keeping their aircraft numbers in check and are best used in hit and run attacks as long as you watch their shields and have a couple shield batteries waiting back at base, as you stated earlier, the speed upgrade is vital for doing this. they're also a line of defence if you have your expansions spread out. Archons/HT on the other hand are better on the defensive due to their splash medicine, mobility is an issue however.

Carriers are units that can turn a game around, only thing stopping from progamers to make them is their intensive cost and slow tech.
Scouts, on the other hand, has almost the worst power = cost. it almost NEVER EVER shows up among progamer games. I've been watching progamer games in Korea since 4 years and have only seen one game with 2 scouts in it. thats it.

Carriers are units that can turn a game around, only thing stopping from progamers to make them is their intensive cost and slow tech.
Scouts, on the other hand, has almost the worst power = cost. it almost NEVER EVER shows up among progamer games. I've been watching progamer games in Korea since 4 years and have only seen one game with 2 scouts in it. thats it.

Agreed. The only games where you ever actually see scouts is as a counter to battlecruisers or carriers if there's no other alternative...which is incredibly incredibly rare.

I really doubt the scouts did anything at all. Bisu had four scouts sitting there for a while. In addition he was on 4 bases while Hwasin was only on 2, one of which just got storm dropped.
Bisu was already ahead before the scouts showed up.

지지? korean is written and read like the alphabet, unlike chinese which doesnt have a sound part in the characters. Since GG sounds like Jee Jee, the ㅈ is the J and the ㅣ is the ee.

lol that was not pro at all, it was just humiliating, like using nukes when u have already won. bisu had +2 expansions and templar tech, he wouldnt have the slightest need for scouts. it was just to show hwasin how badly he lost.

srly, building a scout is nothing more than a taunt. they cost a ton and have crap air to ground. i remember one game when bisu's opponent saw bisu's scout, he gged (not because of the scout but it was pretty much saying "gtfo your done"
