  • LOL. how many song's played on 'mike davies punk show on bbc radio 1' are on youtube. that's 3 in a row. fucked up shit, pahahaha.

  • Yeah, what's the main pic called?

  • What's the artwork on this video?

  • im in the CF, and im going to afghan in march

  • Best songs on this album are:

    Incalculable Effects

    Tertium Non Datur

    .

  • No dude all of the songs on this album are the best.

  • yeah Great Band ,

which country they come from ??? :D

  • The fine country of Canada

  • canada

  • technically perfect! but unfortunately they are not the same as in the past! that´s not the great, political punkrock they made. it´s like modern rock with some old element of propagandhi-recognition.

  • I think they've evolved into something much better. It's still very political, with better lyrics.

As for what genre to put this in; they say they're 'Progressive Thrash'

  • i like propagandhi and the message and all, it's just. i hate the fact that the singer holds his notes when he sings, you know? Its like hes not shouting out his message his singing it...very different from the original propagandhi. But their still great, just the long notes are kinda annoying

  • dunno, they need to keep on with their fuck the border sound. not bad

  • fucking awesome song

  • ha! very canadian

  • rediculously good....the entire album and of course this song.

  • BEST F*****G BAND AND SONG EVER!!!

  • I love the track, but the mangled lyrics poster here might be even more entertaining!

  • The Album Art Reminds Me of Salivdor Dali.. Well The One On This Video Anyway.

    FUCKYEAHPROPAGANDHI!

  • Haven't heard of this band until today, which I can't believe. This song is incredible. Best of 2009. Beats out P.O.S.

  • It's a good song, but i'd say one of the weaker ones on the album

  • I disagree. I had to change my pants after i first heard this song. I think it's one of the best ones.

  • what is going on with the sun symbol at the beginning? I'm aware of the importance of symbolism and this new propagandhi album seems slightly....paganistic in some ways.

  • Did you ever think that the uploader put that there? The hidden track is a joke and the art is by a Cree Indian artist. Propagandhi have not become pagans, so please stop posting comments on videos of their stuff as though you've figured out something amazing, and listen to yourself first.

  • hey now, I'm just wondering that's all.

A lot of musicians do the whole wiccan thing, believe it or not.

  • Dear Ron MacLean. Dear Coach's Corner.

I'm writing in order for someone to explain

to my niece the distinction between

these mandatory pre-game group rites of submission

    and the rallies at Nuremberg.

Specifically the function the ritual serves

in conjunction with what everybody knows is,

in the end, a kid's game.

  • I'm just appealing to your sense of fair play

when I say she's puzzled by this incessant pressure

for her to not defy collective will and yellow ribboned lapels,

as the soldiers inexplicably repel down from the arena rafters.

Which, if it not so insane,

they'll be grounds for screaming laughter.

  • Dear Ron MacLean, I wouldn't bother with these questions

if I didn't sense some spiritual connection.

We may not be the same, but it's not like we're from different planets.

We both love this game so much we can hardly fucking stand it.

  • Alberta-born, and Prairie-raised.

It seems like there ain't a sheet of ice north of Fargo I ain't played.

From Penhold to the Gatinaeu, every fond memory of childhood

that I know is somehow connected to the culture of this game.

I just can't let it go.

I guess it comes down to what kind of world you want to live in.

  • And if diversity is disagreement, disagreement is treason.

Well, you'll be surprised if we find ourselves

reaping a strange and bitter fruit that that sad old man beside you

keeps feeding to young minds as virtue.

It takes a village to raise a child, but just a flag to raze the children

till they're nothing more than ballasts for fulfilling

a madman's dream of a paradise. Complexity reduced to black and white.

How do I protect her from this cult of death?

  • WHAT A FUCKING TUNE

  • Love this band! Can't wait for march 10th and the new album.

  • Fuck Don Cherry

  • he's just some ulterior-motivated tard. ignore him :p

  • all of them

  • Explain.

You can't just say all of them because he probably has a lot of opinions you agree with.

  • awesome thanks for upload. great song

  • absolutely the most underrated band in the history of punk rock. I first heard them in '96 and have never been disappointed by them. They evolve but never change the way they feel about the world, the grew up but not too much, the got louder but they don't over do it, they are the best plain and simple

  • este cd va a ser la pollastra

  • though I understand the point, children listening to Don Cherry's banter could be affected, but Im sure 90% of hnic viewers understand hes a dilusional blowhard who is entertaining in the fact that he is soo rediculous.

  • this is true but theres a time and a place

  • Where are hell are people downloading this album from? I donated to get the two songs and preordered it as well, but I want to hear more.

  • The lyrics, from the leaked version (pre-order already paid for, don't hit me).

  • Im just appealing to your sense of fair play when I say shes puzzled by the incessant pressure for her to not defy the collective will, and yellow ribboned lapels, as the soldiers inexplicably rappel down from the arena rafters (which, if not so insane, would be grounds for screaming laughter).

  • /done

This album has the best lyrics they've ever written. It's amazing from start to finish (did we expect any less?)

  • It's interesting to hear more personal lyrics from Chris. Then you have "Potemkin City Limits", which is incredible; I'd seen live versions but I read the lyrics and was floored. (I've donated $10 to each group and pre-ordered two copies; I just couldn't stop myself downloading in advance. APRIL 19!!)

  • i'm in love with the new album . awesome

  • best thing about this track is that for the most part only Canadians will fully understand the meanings behind the lyrics

the song is about Don Cherry, who is a former NHL coach of the Boston Bruins and current host of Coaches Corner (co-hosted by Ron Mclean). Recently he has been a leading advocate of the Canadian Military and their war in Afghanistan, and uses Coaches Corner (which plays during the 1st intermission of Saturday night NHL games on the CBC) as a venue to voice his opinions

  • thanks for that bit of info

  • ahhhh cheers dude, im from australia and you're right, wouldn't have known unless you explained

by the by, going to see them this week, first time down under in 13 years *drools*

  • how was the show?

  • FUCKING AWESOME!! =D

Well worth the wait, that's for sure.

  • You make it sound so negative man.

Cherry is an advocate of the troops..its not like hes saying yeah you should all join the military..most of the time he just puts on like a 30 second segment at the end of some soldier who was KIA in memory.

Most of the time its depressing because the picture is usually some young kid like 20 or 21 but like its not like hes using coaches corner as a promotion tool for the Canadian Military like you make it sound

  • this is true and there is nothing wrong with paying tribute.

However if you combine his values concerning the military with his xenophobic rants about european hockey players and the fact that he has been named Honourary Commander of the Canadian Forces AND that games featured on HNIC have been known to feature military demonstrations...it adds up to make him a very controversial figure to say the least

  • Ill settle at that..

I just know Hockey Night in Canada won't be the same when you can't watch grapes after the first

  • I agree with that for sure

  • What would you say if I told you I'm joining the Canadian Forces, in combat arms, with the intentions of being deployed to Afghanistan, and that I personally believe we're doing the right thing by being there?

  • I would respectfully disagree with your decision and your belief.

  • i would say good for you, just make sure that you are sure of your trade choice before you start

  • Oh I am. I didn't decide this on a whim. I've been thinking long and hard about it for 3 years. Combat engineer. I know it's up there with infantry in terms of getting your ass kicked all throughout training, but it's what I want.

  • get ready to carry heavy shit. good stuff though mang, that shit aint for me, but someones gotta do it, have fun in st.jean

  • Haha, yeah, I've heard that putting bridges together is a LOT of fun, haha. If you get the chance, can you shoot me a note, give me some pointers for BMQ? I've been researching it a lot, but I'm sure there's always more I can find out to help prepare...

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this song is fucking awesome...

  • Anyone know who did the painting in the background here?

  • you are a bonafide dumbfuck, please stay the fuck away from Propagandhi shows and mosh away at Hatebreed or something

  • directed at: "asofterworld"

  • Agreed. He's the type of person who has no clue.

  • Moshing faggots? Kicking teeth in?

Do you even get this band?

regarding the comment by chainedtothedream... it would be nice of you to shed some light on what us non canadians might not understand. I've had to look stuff up before that was obviously evident to a canadian...

  • Propagandhi continue to knock my dick in the dirt!!
