It's common for beekeepers to only use 9 frames in the honey boxes because the bees draw out a thicker comb for honey storage. That's why they make 9 frame spacers. Most beekeepers want to encourage the thick frames believing that there is more honey in 9 thick frames than 10 frames. I don't have the answers since I am a new beekeeper but it's something to think about.
Not great- you are moving quickly and too rough with your bees BECAUSE you aren't wearing protection. It makes for a rough experience for your bees- especially when you forced that last frame into the hive body. Consider slowing down.
