  • at 00:10 Igudesman trolls the lady, while Joo is a gentleman and really kisses her hand :D

  • @newFranzFerencLiszt No. You actually don't (have to) kiss the hand.

  • the biggest happy-face ever at 1:17 xD

  • What's wrong with clapping? If you hadn't noticed, they themselves don't take Mozart too seriously ;)

  • @icemanbx yesyes i will fall asleep in some classical concerts but i never feel bored with them. they're so fantastic!

  • this is fantastic

    a minor a major b harmonic minor a minor...

  • The violinist is awesome :p he makes such funny faces haha. I love this :)

  • bu adamlar super yaa

  • Now, its really "a la turca" ! Oriental and not European. Mozart würde es auf jeden Fall lieben ;)

  • I'll admit that it is cool. But I think I'm lost on the fact that they obviously rehearsed it that way. So its not really an impromptu transposition to another tonality system like they imply.

  • ..Ma andate a morire tutti e due..ridicoli che non siete altro.. Ciao Eli, ti voglio bene

  • I've watched this many times but I just noticed that the piano is closed. HOW did they mic that with the sound board down? Just curious, I'm an amateur, just learning sound tech. Could mic it from the bottom, or from inside with a pencil and very careful shaping but chellnging either. I wonder. Anyone done closed piano mic?

  • so funny

    so funny

  • There are a DJ? :(

  • Awesomeeeeee

  • They are amazingly funny!! hahahahaah! Still... it's sad that you have to do all that crap in order to get people to enjoy your music, because they 're stupid and don't understand it if it's just music.

  • Fun! Fun! Fun! Music is supposed to be fun. EVEN if it's "classical."

  • I know... The Dutch clap along to everything.. I'm Dutch and it annoys even me

  • Бесподобно!

  • Molto bene. Tres bien. Very good. Muy bien. Suhr gut. Muito bem. Çok iyi.

  • i thought he was going to stop because the clapping and i was like what?!

  • fantastic!!

  • ALLAH!!!

  • you should watch Halil Karaduman's video that playing Turkish March with his Kanun (Qanoon)

  • @SAKE52 could you post a link to this video?

  • Comment removed

  • @dumbegyptian1 İt is in the first video when you write "halil karaduman" to youtube. Turkish march startes around 5 minutes..

  • wonderful, from classical music they make spectacles everyone like!

  • esos dos son geniales, y por cierto no sabia que ese era el ahoy hasta que joo lo dijo

  • "Exactly which part of B flat do you not understand?!"

Hahaha!! I love these guys so much!

  • You don't clap on classical, even if it's supposed to be comical...

  • @irlrp says who??

  • @Dulac91 it's common courtesy and respect for the music. classical concerts aren't knee-slapping shindigs, no matter how funny it is. all clapping should happen after the piece being played, not during it. it's like Broadway and other stage performances. the lead actor/actress will only sign autographs on blank pieces of paper and not pictures of themselves after the show. they will only sign pictures before the show.. it's a standard from a long time ago for classical performances.

  • @elmondae They can be if the audience feels like it. There is no disrespect when you are expressing your delight at what you are listening to no matter how you do it.

  • @vartimaios I guarantee that if you go to a classical concert and start clapping, people will look at you as if you as if you had the plague or something. Trust me, I know. I got taught that lesson early in life when I went to see my first opera.

  • @elmondae Hahahaha but my friend the plague (as well as clapping) is very contagious.

  • @vartimaios as is yawning. ANOTHER thing you don't want to do at an opera! my whole row was yawning because someone somewhere in the middle yawned. we got glared at by many crotchety stuck-ups.

  • @irlrp The Dutch do.. ;p

  • @irlrp But music is music isn't it, no matter how old and famous..?

  • @irlrp

Do you mean in classical, it is not allowed to do what you feel?

but but that is in western classical and he is mixing eastern classical where it is allowed to clap.

  • @irlrp Yeah, imagine having some fun. We can't have that now can we?

  • @irlrp : sure... tell that classical music is not to clap on to the listeners of the Radetzky March! Geeze, I hate snobism!

  • frank zappa ghost was floating above there...

  • Now I know I'm not the only one who thinks the original song does not fit the title :) What an amazing pair :)

  • 3:32 LOL :-D

  • The feng shui jajaja

  • How badass.

  • I'm gay. THUMBS UP if u agree!!!

  • @alekzandewr noo, them i'm bi.

  • @alekzandewr I mean then

  • Comment removed

  • @alekzandewr This comment making this whole music sounds stupid. Btw. I dont care if you ment it in old meaning of word. You dont use word occult as secret neither.

  • need a huge bass...

  • music is fun

  • The horrible thing is though that the audience is clapping along in the beginning.

  • @xyanide1986

Of course the audience will clap because they appreciate it. they are not someone who wil hold their emotion just because you think it is horrible.

  • @pearl1729 No. They're clapping the rhythm, which is tremendously inappropriate when performing a classical composition. Yes, it is a humorous performance, but the fact of the matter is that the soul of their performance of this piece is still very solidly traditional. If it was the Doobie Brothers or some bluegrass, then clapping would be fine. It's not, though. It's Mozart. Also, you are stupid.

  • @smitty01209

Well the last line that wrote, it all says who is stupid. Maybe your 'little knowledge is dangerous' kind of guy and hence you are lost. Go and learn some manner before you learn the tradition of classical music. It will take long for an idiot like you but you will arrive there

  • This is not a music this is a pure energy

  • It sounds to me more like Jewish.

  • You two are the reason I learn piano and violin :)

  • The 32 dislikes are Mozart's descendants :P

  • @forthelordforever I am quite sure Mozart would put a thumb up ;). Music is fun... and that's funny!!

  • really turkish, yes :)

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They should record their music

  • musical geniouses!!!!!!!

  • Oh,my God.... So funny!!!! I love Mozart music but I think this version is so good, too!!!! ^___^

  • ddddddddd+++++++++++ os caras valeu!!

  • Come on, open your chakra ! let this energy flooooowwwww ......

    Amazing *_*

  • @rachmaninoff1127 whats wrong with changing the notes when they are comedy and classical

i say this is as good as the original

  • Jajajaja Amazing...

  • I don't know if any of you felt this way but the diversity of musical characteristics of different ethnicities are astonishing. I find it truely moving that different atonements represent variety of nations. The way that playing this piece in B flat makes it sound more Arabic is just amazing!

  • @GameSec It's not played "in B flat", it's played WITH a flat B. It's a different mode. Unless you have absolute pitch you wouldn't notice it if they just played it an half tone lower.

  • The exact title would be "Molto alla turca" instead of "Alla molto turca".

  • Genius! The magic of scale modes!

  • Asian <3 hahahaha

  • It is supposed to sound more turkish but, is it my idea or it sounds more balkan. Something like Ciocarlia and other similar pieces? Just my opinion.

  • This sounds like something out of a Goran Bregovic song *Shoots with kalashnikov on the air*

  • turkish pride! :D

  • MAGNIFICO!!! FANTASTICO!!!!

  • awesome stuff. the theory proves you can completely change the genre and cultural sound of a classic

  • As a Turkish person, I can say that this is more Turkish. :)

  • The arrangement and orchestration are just great ! True artists reveal themselves undependently of the style or seriousness of the music they play. Bravo !

  • haha he turned to to hizaz scale

  • people who dislike this are all deaf :))

  • Oh I wish I was there, I was so close to them D=.

  • how to dislike this? 28 ........ people...

  • oriental music rules: arabic, jewish, turkish, doesn't matter, music unifies everyone!

  • They're surely more arbish, but i'll better stick to original ).

  • They are OXYENNbIE

  • that s coll ma niggaaaaa

  • петросянщина блядь везде

  • Wow, that's great!

  • 27 living Mozart descendants have watched this video

  • sounds like mono :<(

  • It became a kind of Jewish song:)

  • if mozart heard this, he must be freaked out lol!!! its amazing!!!

  • Not only are they funny there amazing musicians!!!

  • This is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!! I know the piece by heart as I used to play the piano and this is SO refreshing!!!! these two are such good musicians they can allow themselves anything!!!!

  • Wow!! It's fantastic~~lol

  • in some videos dislike must banned!!

  • This is genius. I can't read music, but I realize that transposing the notes to a song written in a certain mode to a VERY different sounding one is quite the task. Naturally, it would come quite easily to two such talented musicians/showmans as Igudesman and Joo, but it is a feat I don't think too many people like them could do with such awesomeness. Fuckin' RAD.

  • @FrakTheGods2011 Generally it is quite a task. But the are not changing the tonic, they are only changing the mode (From a minor to A phrygian if I'm right). If the piece doesn;t shift around keys this is easy-play Bb instead of B and G instead of G# . Still, the outcome is remarkable.

  • @SpyVi I think this version has more feeling and movement than the original in A minor. I think they should do a take on Fur Elise, or Symphony No. 9. Now, are you saying they're only flatting those two notes? My theory is weak.

  • @FrakTheGods2011 It is a small change, flatting 2 notes propably, or another small one that I'm not catching. Theory-wise, major is a mode-the ionian mode- that concists of t t s t t t s, where t is tone and s is semitone. now, if you play C major starting from E instead of C you are playing E phrygian mode, so here, they actually play F major, concidering A as tonic, so its A phrygian. you can read more on the topic in wikipedia, search for modes in music, the article will solve any questions.

  • And yet....I often wonder if in fact this is exactly what Mozart had in mind - he had of course been exposed to Hungarian folk music in Prague and Vienna - perhaps the Rondo Alla Turca was always meant to be this way, and the written version simply a santized edition from which a great musician would divine the rest - Alex and Richard have unwrapped the mystery - what would the rest of the work sound like ?

  • they are just brilliant =) oh i love them :D

  • i'm in love.......lol

  • Incredible.

  • i'm shocked =) they are amazing

  • Fantastic. I can't help thinking it wouldn't be nearly as funny if I didn't know the original piece so well!

  • oh man... poor trumpet players 3:48

  • i so want a cd.. or an mp3 or something of this

  • Awesome!!! :D

  • this is what we call comedy musician! and this is the real entertainer! not like a BIEBER! THUMBS UP if u agree!!!

  • oh, but I was asking for music sheet...

  • The lower B flat become much more Turkish, I wonder how Mozart did not see that......... :)

  • @kandemird1

exactly! that was just what i was thinking of!!

  • If Mozart rises from his grave, he'll be jealous t you all..

  • Turned in his grave?
