  • The steering wheal ripped off from the Bmw 3 series :(

  • THAT IS ONE HOT RIDE! the car is pretty cool too

  • looks good. welldone suzuki.

  • Nice car. Suzuki has always made awesome cars. The Kizashi is awesome, sporty, sexy, and looks like it would be a fun car to drive. I think this will be the next car I buy.

  • 29MPG???? That's it? The bigger and more powerful Sonata gets 35MPG, Camry & Accord are approaching 37MPG...

  • @insidertrading1 You are making a foolish comparison. The Kizashi is an AWD vehicle, the Sonata, Camry, and Accord are not. Besides that, in real world testing when Sonata and Kizashi were in the same test group, the two cars came withing less than 1/4 of 1mpg difference from eachother. As far as horsepower difference, the Sonata might claim more HP, but again in real world testing it didn't have an advantage over Kizashi. Check video "i45 & Kizashi comparison".

  • @Erik23ode How can there be a 1/4 mpg difference when theirs a 29/35 mpg difference on the cars....i understand the numbers arnt perfect but they def arnt 6 mpg off. Think before you type.

  • @BrownBagSB How? Because instead of just calculating on fill-up's they actually emtied the fuel tanks of each vehicle at the end of the test to get exact measurements that's how. At the end of the "real world conditions testing" the difference was less than 1mpg difference between Kizashiand Sonata. As far as the Sonata results being 6mpg off, yes it is possible which is why Hyundai ended up editing their superbowl commercial and deleted MPG claims, there are so many complaints now.

  • This is a beautiful car! But the fuel economy could be better

  • @Chrispisz12 But its AWD remember?

  • @tungol00 2012 Subaru Impreza is AWD and gets 34 pmg

  • @Chrispisz12 They have different engine size do you know that? lol Kizashi has 32hp more than the impreza just so you know. ;]

  • Crazy shapes!!...and nice car to!

  • Marry me 0_o

  • @tom11zz884 Simply not true. I've owned a total of 5 Suzuki's now and each time I've gone to sell or trade-in I've gotten very good resale price, just as good as the Honda's I've owned. Sometimes "street price" ends up being very different than "book price" and Suzuki is a clear case of that. Also remember that Honda dealers want FULL RETAIL for a new Honda, but Suzuki dealers offer alot of incentives and negotiate. You can get a Suzi below list brand new! Quashes any resale loss.

  • I am a Suzuki dealer. People who buy Kizashis are very satisfied. We have not had to do any major repairs to any Kizashis yet. Suzuki really got it right with this car.

  • She has a great body, I miss jessi on roadfly

  • Красивая девушка !

  • I've owned this car for about 6 months now. The new car smell is still with me. Every day I get in, take a deep breath and smile.

  • @resonantevol that smell is chemical off gassing its not very good for you.

  • Just bought this car and it is great. When I go 80mph in it it feels like im going only 60mph and 60mph feels like Im doing 40 mph in it. Handles very well, fun to drive and built very solid. Oh ya and they have option of AWD which Suzuki offers on all there vehicles which is good in the North

  • Just saw a commercial for this car and I'm shocked by the name. Based on name recognition alone I would probably pass this car up, provided I'm not shopping purely for value. What is a kizashi? Do Americans recognize or identify with that term? SMH.

  • @teabagginue It's kind of funny you say that. Back when Toyota stepped way out on a limb and gave their flagship car a Japanese name -Camry- (Kanmuri which means Crown) many people had the same reaction.. what kind of name is that!, why are they using a Japanese name for a car sold in America!, etc. No one recognized or identified with the Japanese name Camry.... and yet it still went on to be the best selling car in America year after year after year. America is great :)

  • I absolutely love the styling of this car!! I really like the size, too. I think cars are getting too big. What's with 'mid-size' moving into 'full-size' territory (Accord, Sonata?) and 'compact' is midsize (Cruze, Elantra?).

  • Why am I watching a VW commercial?

  • LOL, bad video editing, at 20sec she is looking to the wrong camera!! :D

  • I LOVE A WOMAN THAT KNOWS HER WAY WITH CARS !!!!!!

  • No need to question Suzuki's reliablity. They have been building solid quality vehicles for years. The ride and fuel economy on the other hand have been questionable and continue to be less than. For value and reliabilty Suzuki is hard to beat perhaps the new Kizashi is the car to break through into the comfort arena as well. I will test drive one soonest and see for myself.

  • Outside of being one of the best kept secret, this car is awesome. I love that no one in my neighborhood owns one of these. I hate buying a new car and a week later seeing my next door neighbor driving the same vehicle. 3000 miles and just loving.

Take a really close look at this car before buying a new car compare to any car in it class and you will quickly realize that it is second to NONE!

  • thats radical!!!

  • Rented this car. I really like it. I never considered even looking at Suzuki, but this car is pretty cool. Like the 1-series trunk.

  • I want this woman...

Oh, and that's a pretty nice car. Suzuki have stepped it up!

  • Suzuki, Kia and Hyundai have improved alot compared to Toyota and Honda. Have you seen the new Honda Civic 2011, on the basis of refinement, its rubbish and so are many Toyotas including their top of the range off road, Hilux.

  • Love the car and the review Jessi. But did you say you had remove the FRONT TIRE to put the bike in the boot? You mean the spare right? Sorry to nitpick. Good luck with your PhD thesis defence by the way. I am still working on mine.

  • @testpilot79 bicycles dont have spare tires. she was talking about the front tire of the bicycle, not the car dorkus.

  • @testpilot79

she meant the front wheel of the bike

  • hmmmm Civic Si 197 hp, 21/29 mpg, about the same price (civic is about $500 cheaper), better reliability than a Suzuki, probably just as fun to drive, roomier interior, better resale value, and its faster. though probably not as nice interior materials, and the huge A pillars on the Civic is not for everyone.

  • @enemay Civic doesn't even begin to compete with Kizashi on features. Engine, spunkiness, MPG and resale value you might be better off with Civic, but after that, Kizashi is better in every way.

  • @resonantevol civic not ) but kia forte yeah

anyway I'm not sure that this car will be better than my 08 civic si

  • Her bast design is good than this car.

  • Americans are unable to criticize anything.

  • @daibadrumu Are you British? You sound like Simon Cowell haha

  • I think that Suzuki needs to partner with Chrysler to get the best V-6 out there

  • @sheikra1000 Suzuki is already working on it's own V6 as well as other additional powertrain options for Kizashi. They are currently road testing a Turbo version.

  • The girl has a nice "smile ". But I get headaches by her talk.

    The car is ok.

  • I wanna ride with this Girl, Nice Japanese Car Kizashi Rocks. I hope VW and Suzuki will make it even better sometime soon.

  • hate it or not cvts are the fututre thats why an impreza gets worse mpg than a legacy

  • I just bought this car late last month. I was told by many that I would get good fuel mileage with it. Sadly, my fuel costs have nearly doubled from the 2007 Saturn Ion III I traded in on it. It too, had a 2.4 Liter I4 Engine, rated about 177 horsepower. I'm very disappointed and am beginning to realize that this automobile is a "gas-guzzler."

  • @TeeDog63 Suzuki engines are known to take a while to break-in before you achieve the best gas mileage. After about 3000 miles you will notice a gradual increase with each tank. As the engine becomes fully broken-in with more mileage many people have been exceeding the rated MPG's for this car as well as other Suzuki's.

  • How the Kizashi may further be able to save Suzuki:

Replace that DISGUSTING CVT with a DSG from VW

Add a much more potent engine. Just DI would increase HP and torque significantly.

Build more cars like the Kizashi.

  • @banstaman The CVT is going to stay for the entry level sedan which is fine for most peoples needs. The upcoming Turbo version will be getting a DSG. The turbo version will increase the engine output to about 270hp. There are more cars coming based on the Kizashi platform. By summer of 2011 a special Turbo edition will be available at select Suzuki dealers with the RoadRace Turbo kit installed. U.S. Suzuki sales are slow but now on the rise. World wide though Suzuki is doing very well.

  • @racers115 i hope your right i like vw... i have the audi a3 2006 ...this car awd 2.5 t @ 270hp...with dsg...I'd be in love.

  • @banstaman they do have di just need some new program to get 200 out of it. kia has much the same engine i am betting their engine has better programming.

  • '

what country make this suzuki car

  • @bestamerica japan

  • This car looks very good and a good value for money as well.

  • The version she's driving is the FWD Manual SLS "SPORT" (MSRP $24,699), that is rated at 21/29, not 20/29. She stated it incorrectly in this video review. Also, after having taken several trips in a friends Kizashi SLS manual, that rating is really under-estimated. 250 mile trips each way and we got 32 mpg on the way there and 32.5 on the way back, 3 people in the car with luggage. Around town he's been getting 23 to 24. That's with 8000 miles on the car so far.

  • I'm going to be getting this car at the end of the month. I test drove it today and it was pretty fun. A bit slow from stop to start but a blast after that!

BTW, what is up that tattoo Jessi? Mistake much? lol

  • I like how Jessi points out the stuff that no one thinks about. seems like she does her research.

Beautiful + cars = many Mens' Dreams

  • @Benini352 Oh spare me.

    You're not fooling anyone.

Just like the rest of the hopeless virgins trolling here.

  • I absolutely love this car.Its the first car, in a long time, that I have fallen in love with. I went to buy my wife a Suzuki SX4 AWD. And while there, she said, now thats your car. I didnt think about it. But after I looked at it and drove it. Holy this is a nice car. It one of those cars thats in the back of a dark room and nobody really pays attention to it. I have a 2007 G35, but I drive the kizashi more than my Infiniti. Its just that good. And I plan to trade my G35 for another kizashi.

  • @bradkali can you make a video on ur kizashi??.... maybe a tour and start up..

  • @kimmoque

Sure I can do that, Im not sure why, since roadfly shows everything you need to know. But yes I can do that.

  • @bradkali Are you still happy with your car?

  • @ericj305 Yes. Extremely happy. I still have the infiniti g35, but like I said it stays in the garage. I know that the kizashi is slow, and it doesnt really have alot of power at higher speeds. But the handling and looks and AWD makes up for that. I cant tell you how many people stop me and ask what kind of car that is.

Im looking at buying a second kizashi this summer.

  • @bradkali a g35 man dont do it

  • @ragezee I do have the G35, but in all honesty, it sits in the garage. Im driving the Kizashi just about any time I go out or take a trip. Someone asked me to post both cars. will do that shortly.

  • This Suzuki Kizashi car looks like a Chevrolet Cruze.

  • Please give us a GTDI 4 cyl.

  • Audi has a 20% stake in Suzuki

  • @MrGetsomenow....grow up

  • For some reason, this car reminds me of a Volkswagen Jetta ..

  • @LoveTheCity123 same class :)

  • please review the new jetta

  • So, Jessi, which car do you own?

  • @IrishBOY164

I dont think she would be to keen on having a Paki monkey boyfriend ha ha ha

  • With that kind of a name for a car, they just committed suicide. Who hired the marketing group to come up with that name?

  • @mail22 Im sure it was someone JAPANESE

  • @mail22 Probably the same marketing group that came up with the name Camry, for Toyota's flagship car, the best selling car in America. Camry a Japanese word (kanmuri) meaning "Crown". Kizashi a Japanese word meaning "A sign of things to come". Funny though, alot of people were saying the same thing about the Japanese name Camry when it first came out too lol.

  • Jessi,You forgot to tell us that it comes in all wheel drive also.

  • @lildude8210 Who says it has low after sales? You are a bit behind the times. For the past few years Suzuki resale value has been going consistantly up and as a matter of fact, the past 2 years in a row Suzuki won "Biggest increase in resale values in the industry " by several automotive sources. Their SX4 led the way with best resale in its catagory in a tie with Honda, and SX4 also has the lowest cost of ownership. Kizashi will be right up there too

  • the Kizashi is a Great car and Suzuki is doing some pretty cool stuff... they just need to bring it all to America and quit worrying about what people say....

the Kizashi isn't a fast car but it's real fun to drive fast. thats my take

  • Suzuki sucks balls. It will never be as good as Mazda or Mitsubishi(and they both also suck), and can't even dream to be as good as Subaru, Toyota or Nissan(The best Japanese automakers)

  • Comment removed

  • Suzuki lacks a je ne sais quoi in their cars. I think Suzuki needs to invest in advertising and their image to really develop the rep of Mazda, Honda, Nissan or Toyota in the car industry.

    Good job Jess!

  • ....I don't care what anyone says, I love her more than any other commenter in the whole wide world :-D

  • I wouldn't say getting 20-29MPG is awesome, but its not that bad. As good as I've heard this car is, I doubt it will 'save' the brand. There just aren't enough dealers to compete. It wouldn't surprise me to hear Suzuki will pull out of the automotive market in the US in a few years. Unless...VW services the cars and/or sells them at their dealerships. Oh, and uses their 2.0T powerplant.

  • damn I don't even know how to drive a manual... that's fucked up lol

  • Getting much better on these reviews. Very informative.

A side note: is it just me, or did the audio inside the car seem just a tad off?

  • Jessi Lang + Cars = Awsome

  • @wweuniversewwe I was thinking the exact same thing. :) Nice car, too.

  • Good but not great

  • I wonder if this will save suzuki. I never see suzuki's. But this is nice

  • subaru should buy it and redesign it to make it more like a subaru

    subaru NEEDS an economy car!

  • @crammage amen brother. haha

  • ok seriously? here in the SF bay area, i have never seen a Suzuki car. i know they make them.. but there is just zero market share here. its all honda and toyota. i personally welcome some change.

  • jessi is so dang fine

  • Could you do a review on the vw jetta?

  • I almost bought one, but I thought it was to expensive for what you get. Great car though, needs be driven to be understood.

  • Wow!!! Only five thousand for premium floor mats, paint, and XM radio? Where do I sign up? :P J/K It seems like a good car but I think Suzuki will need to offer an above average warranty to really get people back in the short term. I am with igotwhips in wondering why Suzuki Automotive has not commisioned a high performance limited run engine option from the motorcyle division. Think Ford Taurus SHO's original Yamaha sourced V6.

  • It looks like a VW Jetta at first.

  • My first time wanting a Suzuki!?

  • I want a Kizashi

  • I hope you have a big trunk..

  • Lousy brand. Nice style. Horrible resale value. Your better off with Honda or Toyota.

  • Suzuki can give a few tips to the Americans on how to design wheels

  • Suzuki makes the best motorcycles. I wish they'd integrate their cycle greatness into their cars. Hayabusa engines for each wheel. GSX-R750 headlights.

  • if they ever loose her at roadfly, their popular days are over! haha Ive seen this car everywhere lately, but its cheap so go fig.

  • @Niche79 why? They had good reviews before hiring Jessi and if she chooses to leave I am sure they will find another capable car reviewer. They may lose the 14 to 20 year olds who live in moms basement and can't afford to buy their own car but outside of that I am sure they will be fine. I continue to come here because this is one of the few commercial reviewers that read their comments section and respond to legitimate questions about the car.

  • I like the styling of the car and I like that a midsize sedan is actually *gasp* midsize. With the Accord and Sonata (and I'm sure the next gen Malibu, Passat, etc) now technically "full-size" midsize vehicles I feel like manufacturers are getting overly bloated. My only gripe with purchasing a Kizashi is I'm not sure where Suzuki will be in a few years, but with VW behind them maybe they can stick around. Although the Legacy also has AWD and better MPG and is a bit roomier...:)

  • @Windgrace I you lived in Europe, the choice would include Alfa romeo 159 (it looks great!), but you wouldn't have the Malibu or Camry, but trust me, Alfa kicks their buts!

  • God Damn shes Hot

  • that's not a bad looking car, i like it!

  • Great video guys! I have to admit, I really dig this car. Kinda reminds me of the last gen Jetta in a way. Either way Jessi nice job!

  • aww they should of partnered with GM

  • That's a very nice car!

    She is hot!!
