@Protagonistinfluence It was in the news at the time... during a period of a month just before the comedy festival there was a series(coincidental)unrelated attacks on Indian students and a murder and arson involving Indians.SoIndia complained to Australia saying we were racist..turned out the arson was an Indian man who burned himself whilst committing insurance fraud.a wife killed a cheating husband.and the stabbings were apart of a series of muggings on public transport

@Protagonistinfluence a couple of years i think it was about two students were studying in melbourne and were from india, they got stabbed and then people in india started complaining to the government and pulling their students out
