i mean if you look at it people audition as groups and for the whole competition all they dance to is the style of dancing that they are comfortable with but with sytycd the dancers get to experience different styles of dancing and they would be mush more educated in the sense of dancing and they get to partner people hu dance the opposite of wat they dance to like for example u pair up a hip hop dancer with a ballroom dancer or hip hop and contemporary trust me the show would go on fire

Yes...the movement is contemp. moves but i cannot feel that it's a contemp. dance. They are still constrained to their own routine.
