I think we (minpin owners) can agree, that giving them human names is COMPLETELY suitable for this breed. When I walk my min pin she has to walk on the concrete if there's a choice, oh and since she's doesn't need a leash she chooses to go about without any. Btw does anyone's else's minpin LOVE CLOTHES??? (especially warm sweaters in the winter?)

My min pin behaves the same way. Since their legs are so long, when they slap their legs on the ground, it really looks like they're pounding the ground... and they are but it's just more dramatic because of the length of the legs. Mine tries to talk. Instead of barking (which he does usually), sometimes he'll sort of howl and grunt at the same time but loudly. rowROWrowrowROW... hard to explain, really. But your pup is very cute. Gotta watch out for the clipped ears though. They get dirty easy!

Where does he talk? When my minpin was a pup and I would leave him alone he would sound like ke was really talking like a little kid. Now that hes one he doesnt really do that anymore but it was amazing!! He would do it for hours! It was like a whiny howl that would change volumes and pitch and he made out what souned a lot like a child talking!!
