i have a 250 acre land in TN, i catch fish in a diferent way, i make a coil with a iron bar and i eletrucute the fish to death! its faster and saves time, now for deer i yust use a sniper, but when im aslep i use bear craw traps and nail mines to catch deers. for birds, i use magnetic radioactive waves to bring them down!
for food i use a hydroponic floating system floating in a river.
10:23 "dont stick ya self" awsome lol! I have to say, I love all of your videos. This one is one of my favorites. Not sure I have locust trees here in california, but im gonna try and make my own hooks outta something.
There is something about such a young and beautiful woman talking these primitive technologies that is just alien to an old man like myself --- but Hell yeah blue eyes keep going on.
You are fantastic. I was looking up some info on natural rooting hormone for some cherry cuttings I have and now Im watching how to make fish hooks. Got me sidetracked :). Also, Just got back from camping in a lean-to with the guys, to bad they didnt have any useful info like you would on the trip. Thanks a lot! Im subscribing :). Keep it up!
You make me wish I had a daughter now. What a wonderful wife you will make some lucky/blessed young man. Thanks for the video. Learned something special. God bless!
After seeing the enormous knife you used I noticed the size of the thorns you picked for hooks. Those are some huge thorns! I don't think I have any locust trees near me. Is there more than one name for Locust tree?
Your double barb thorn gave me an idea for an arrow head for bow fishing. I'll try it and let you know if it worked. I might end up using it like a little spear. What brand of knife do you use in this video?
That was kind of you to say that about not using the horse's tail hair. In pre-historic times in England they made something very similar to the single barb hook, except they used the loop end of the twine. You stick your thorn through the loop at the end of the twine and then through the next twist up. The thorn lays flat while the bait is on and opens up when the fish takes it. They used to make trot lines this way. It was very effective. watch?v=1xUbCy0jdtQ&t=140
what a cute girl. about how strong the thorns are.one stuck completely through my workboot sole last week when i was weedeating. i hate locust trees. except they are the strongest wood around. the only wood to make wagon axles out of.
Whats the best method for finding worms? and also, could u use insects as bait? Have u caught fish using this method? Thanks for the vid, your so awesome. Tribal chicks are Hott!!!
@physicsmusico honestly, for worms I just look for well shaded moist soil that's not to hard or compacted and dig. Looking under rotting logs and trees usually turns up lots of worms and grubs. (Careful of snakes when looking under rotting wood) You can use bugs. Dragonflies work very well. I might make a video on finding different kinds of bait. Thanks for the idea.
Thanks again.. I'm gonna try this out. I've been haresting alot of wild edibles lately. Amazing hourglass body. Your hips are so sexy, especially with that Knife holster on!!! :D
@SavageArms357 lol We have a lot of "big" animals here that can eat you (not to mention all the snakes we have) so a big knife and a big dog are a must.
@SavageArms357 Also, I stopped and shot this when I saw the Locust tree but I was really out filming a clip on thistles which you need a big knife to harvest a small knife to clean. That's why I had both on me.
You are amazing.

Neat!
Are the thorns strong enough to hook and hold a fish when they take the bait? Have you caught any fish with a thorn hook?
joesub 1 year ago
@joesub yes. It'll hold a 2-4 lb fish. Nothing to big but enough to be a nice meal in a pinch.
