Now this is the shit baby! This is talent and skill. This is ROCK! Flip all those pansieass bitches doing that glam rock. Glamours you missed the boat. Only David gets that award. The rest it's aaaalll about lead guitar and fast drumming with the support of goooooo assss bass like you see here
This was actually a pretty popular song. It'd be cool to hear it again now, seeing as how they played this song until as late as 1989 for the Presto tour.
@mooghammondb3 There used to be a great video of Geddy here on YouTube where he talks about all of his basses through the years, and how he could never get the sound or bottom end from the Steinberger that he wanted. Those things are only useful as canoe paddles.
It's always so awesome to see them play when they were younger. It makes me wish I was 10 years older right now. It kinda sucks having your favorite band be around for over 30 years and you've only been alive for 18
Holy crap, so much to say! This performance is f'n awesome, geddy says booby, and Neil Peart has a PONYTAIL! Rush is the greatest f'n band of all time!
@jesusonguitar RRRRUSH! the greatest band ever! one of the best live shows anybody could ever see. i seen the { Grace under Pressure} tour twice in 1984 and it stays with me even to this day. an experience i will never forget. :) D
always in the mood for the song

I always liked this vid, but I never cared for the mix. He said "boobie". Huh huh. Heh heh huh huh. HEH HEH HEH huh huh huh.

I always thought it was weird that he went from a massive Ric 4001 in the 70's to a
little Steinberger in the 80's. Oh, and a mullet too. Gotta love the 80's!

0:33 did he just say "Hey boobie, its a quarter to eight" ????? XD

Interesting vid, thanks.

Does anybody know what is the name of the song played at the end credits of the vhs/dvd?
Thank you.
carlosarios 2 years ago
It's the middle of Afterimage from Grace Under Pressure. It's the lead up to the guitar solo.
