I am a native US, born in Cleveland, OH, age 66, coming to carnatic music completely untutored. I am lucky enough to live in a city where U. Shrinivas performs at least every year or two, and other carnatic musicians as well. The music seems to me like the voice of all music -- transcendent. I must thank the performers and the audience that supports them. Thank you for uploading these videos.

Excellent, music is as addicive as hard core drugs, the more u get into it the more u become detached from the rest.

He is a genius, child prodigy and brings out the subtelities so well.

I learn carnatic music but Shri u srinivas is special.

wow the technical prowess of that mandolin player is phenomenal. how in the hell did he get all those quarter step bends and tones to come through so clean on a fretted instrument?? that neck is so small and its damn near impossible to achieve that! well done!
