  • simply..yay!!

  • Sending you love. Thanks for putting your beautiful soul out there Philip! Peace!

  • We all need to get more "new agey". The "old agey" isn't working.

  • thank you for sharing these videos. you are a beautiful person. and i hope you have a wonderful day :)

  • Thank you Philip, this is very inspiring!

  • I set my intention today to hear the word "Universe" 5 times today from random sources so that i would know whether or not i should go on with a decision.. and you are the 5th person today. Its 1am in NYC here and I'm still up..

  • I know exactly what you mean!!!

  • @lovina87 Go for it! :)

  • I'm at the place of beginning this journey myself. No books or speaking for me lol but nice to see a young man like yourself just moving through life and being able to change your game and seize the opportunity that change brings. It really is inspiring. One last thing, I think it best we all learn to live this way...

  • You are such a sweet soul :)

  • Awesome vid

  • You looked a little better with a little more meat on your bones, your neck looks a little too thin, take things into moderation, weight loss can be over-done, look at Nicole Richie ;) Not that you are anywhere near there, just saying...

  • Raw food/vegan lifestyle will shift the way you think and see things !

  • 4:43 word!

  • Thank u! :-)

  • Man, you got a beautiful spirit bro - thanks for this video. This video just popped out at me. I am SOOO at that point of "F*k it! F*k it! F*k it!" that its ridiculous... If I never saw another cubicle again it would be wayyyyy too soon! LOL Now if I could only jump out the damn plane and have faith in spirit that the chute will pull, then I'll be good! But I smell autumn in the breeze, and that's my fave season, so maybe I'll make my move sooner than I think... Best wishes on your journey.

  • @uselessvideo thank you so much, check out the follow podcast on welikeitraw (dot) com.

  • you know I feel like that too. interesting because you used the same words that i've been saying. I am tired of it, I hate what I do. I know i can do something else. the problem is that I have 2 kids, and a child support to pay. otherwise, i would do it in a second.....

  • I'm feeling you on this vid man, that passion is brewing like a bomb ready to go off. Good vid.

  • @GetFitGamer boom baby!

  • I love this video more than any other video you ever did!!

  • Thank you so much!

  • This is probably my favorite video of yours... I basically had the same enlightenment a few weeks ago and came up wit this: Money is just a concept that creates a necessity for rich people. Too often most of think that if money was not around we would not be able to live. And, it's total madness. All we need is sunshine, water, and a little bit of love. The rest will fall into place.

  • I totally agree with you on this point. A mcJob can bleed you dry of positive energy. I am VERY blessed to have a job where it has ignited my passions again, it is part time and I am surrounded by happy, positive, healthy people who are supportive in my raw goals (many are vegans) and I am giving back to society supporting those who need postive energy to empower themselves to become strong again on all levels. Money buys nice shoes but no real happiness.

  • Amazing testament- a true inspiration.

    Thanks!

  • What job did you quit?

  • Great stuff, thanks!

  • you rock! you totally get it! :) Congrats to you on freeing yourself

  • how fuking true you make a great point

yeah I plan on doing that

so did jon gabriel said the same thing

you have to change your life live your passion ia gree 10000%

i need to move too yeah do it

  • Thanks Phil!

  • We are slaves to the economic system.

  • Priority list is the keyword.

  • Thank you, this is a beautiful video with a topic that touches me.

  • you are wise...

  • Great video. One thing, why do people say "I manifested X" or "I created "Y". To me it's very ego-driven. Not a criticism of you personally but I don't want to claim the blessings or answered prayers from God as something I did myself - that is the ultimate insult to the creator.

This was good to hear as I am feeling led away from my current 'security job'..instead of putting my faith in God I was getting too attached to the security of the job and seeing the job as my source instead of God.

  • I hear you... guess I could always say "Why do Christians always want everything changed to be the way they think, are they uncomfortable with letting things just, Be?"

  • Good point. It takes more faith to say less and trust God more to mold and shape what is. We get too obsessed with outward form - I've even seen this in the raw community - people obsessing about % raw and all sorts of dietary rules...it reminds me of stuff you see in the religious community :) God Bless.

  • @LovingRaw *raises hand, I'm a buddhist.

    Agrees with @lovingraw

  • That's funny, I once spent a night in a homeless shelter just for the "experience". And that it was! I didn't get much sleep, but I still crack up at stuff the guy next to me on acid said and did. Got his butt kicked out that night after turning the light on so he could read his Bible! (that was the apex)

  • Yay Philip!!!! Thank you for this.

  • here I am... watching my favorite video again ;)... thank You, Philip!!! <3

  • When you feel your passion & have a clear vision of at least the next step nothing can stop you. But just knowing you don't belong in a job anymore & knowing what you love won't pay the bills until you have vision . It's frustrating. Any suggestions?

  • Keep your day job and transition to your love. You must consider if you've a family that depends on you. But at the end of the day, it's your life and you have to live it to its fullness and correctness.

  • simplifysimplifysimplify :) prioritize your financial needs DIY without a job you have time and energy to network and build communities of DIYers LOVELOVELOVE

  • btw, i sense the Eckhart Tolle in you, lol, you know what i'm talking about. i listen to him too

  • somebody shaved...

  • you are so right. I am a teacher and i love the breaks that i get. i get to be free then. However, i can't quit cause i'm not as creative for being a business owner.

  • Hi Philip, Bravo!..follow your passion and behealthy! love you and your encouraging stories. e.p.y.

  • Woah - I just watched on of your 07 videos..and another two a couple of months back and would not have recognized you in this one. I think it's more the facial hair though - hehe.

Anyway - how has the eating raw affected your social life? When eating out with friends/eating together/eating at work?

(I guess though, the benefits of loosing so much weight and keeping it off outweighs the sharing of a pizza or a bowl of Nachos:D)

  • Its been the best ever, I go to all the same social events that I used to, expect more confident and loving life!

  • Oh man! I feel like this was totally meant for me. I'm at this place right now in my life, but I do not know how to go about it.

    ...sigh!

  • You have a gift.

  • Thank You Philip! Beautiful.

  • best. video. ever. ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello Mr. LOVINGRAW!

Just got back from Sedona AZ....met the amazing RAW community at the Chocola Tree! I am an RN at a busy hospital and I feel I am not able to give my patients the , intuitve , loving & nurturing healing energies I am capbale of. You inspired me to manifest a job where I can use my healing intuitive gifts.

    Thank u!!!!!!!!

  • I have just discovered you and your vids..thank you..you make me smile :)

  • The more I cater to my "passions" and follow my interests, the more opportunities seem to be opening up for me. I can relate to this emotional pulling you describe, it is almost like you are getting sucked into a new paradigm, where you just know you are going to have a huge growth spurt and unless you take that risk, you are just going to sit complacent and risk not growing at all.

  • This has made me smile... even more considering I'm being laid off after this week :(... but I'm turning that frown upside down... PASSION!

  • YES!!!!!

  • Thats how we roll....

  • Yes indeed. And thank the Universe for that!

  • Right On

  • Philip, I am SO there right now. Been "inbetween" jobs for about a month and a half. Here is my new mantra "Listen, Trust, and Take Guided Action". No more worrying and hustling. Gotta Love what you do! Follow your bliss. You are such an inspiration and are Deeply Adored! Peace & Blessings, :D

  • Thanks!

  • Wow...that was...amazing

  • I recently committed a sackable offence and had to resign from my job. though i realise now it was because i was tired of the routine and my life in general. i'm a former meditator, who likes to travel (even though I haven't travelled for years now) and read. I've put on alot of weight, these past 2 years and i'm desperate to lose it because i'm prone to depression and the weight issue isn't helpping. thank you for uploading this video, it's truly uplifting.

  • I love your vids! Thank you for sharing your story, it does change lives! : )

    Veyr nice massages!!

  • Ok, Philip; I love your videos. I'm overweight and unhappy and ready for change. I'm gonna start the diet today.

You look like you've lost enough weight! Don't lose any more.

Also: You have a great smile.

  • This video rings true and has eased my mind. I intend to quit my job in a year and give up security for something that my heart is guiding me toward. I feel this pull toward a higher purpose deep down and overcoming all the negative talk of the economy and doubt is a growing process that is beautiful in itself. Thank you Philip.

  • Hi Philip

Great inspirational vid. I quit my job a year ago and not worked since & DO NOT REGRET IT !. I cannot go back to what I use to do, it did not serve me. I ended up HATING it. My passion too is raw and know that is what I will be devoting my life to, in passing on this info to others, in ways that I don't know just yet, but I just, like you...KNOW.

I too believe we all come here with a unique mission and our job is to find out what that is and go for it.

    Thanx again Philip

  • After 3 months of including fresh raw fruits and vegetables into my diet , i made a huge decision i never thought i would make . I've decided to move back overseas to be close to my family and relatives after 11 years of living in the states . it's amazing how that change in diet affected my ability to think clearly and re-evaluate my priorities which is being close to those i love instead of having money and feeling empty and unhappy . Really thanks for this moving video .

  • One of the best replies yet, thank you. : )

  • Watching this video breaks my heart. Honestly. I was watching this with tears in my eyes, because I have felt this way my entire life. Like I've wanted to go somewhere, and be someone different, and I just can't. What do you do when you have a ten thousand dollar loan, no education, no future? I don't even know what I want to do! I don't KNOW what my passion is, but I know it's not this kind of life, working to live. I'm only 23 years old and I feel like my life is over with.

  • Recognizing it is the biggest first step. Sometimes its just taking it a little bit at a time and remembering what you love to do, even as a kid, and start from there. I believe in you.

  • that is so beautiful... saying "I believe in you"... brought tears to my eyes... <3

  • All there is, is love....

  • I didn't even know what I was passionate about until I was in my late 20's to early 30's. Perhaps you haven't found it yet. Be adventurous and try new things! You will find it! Life has a way of leading you to it.

  • What a great video, I am imspired! I did a similar thing a few years ago and havn't looked back!. Your secerity is wonderful

  • I have watch you for about 10 minutes and wow...u are inspiration, stregnth...i feel u bro...1 love

  • thank you for this video it is easy to see you speek from the heart and are very sincere love and peace bro!

  • "going after your bliss" my new favourite expression!

  • nice terms guy...your info is true and i agree entirely...the question is, "how do we educate the entire planet?...and i mean everyone. you are only as strong as your weakest team member. you can overflow forever but you'll still find some of those around you to continue their downward spiral. you need their energy just like they need yours. i believe until the people are healthy, we are all sick. as for mother nature, she comes first and right now i think she's in third or something..journey on

  • great video phil. Ive been wanting to quit my job for the past 5 years. Every year I would say I have to quit and every year I would find a reason to not quit. I am at this point again and I feel I need to quit my job. After listening to your video I feel I got some clarity on what I need to do. I also have been struggling with my weight and feel the need to do something about it. I am going to eat raw for a month to see if this is right for me. Thanks for your inspireing video.

  • Another truly inspiring video. I've been made redundant recently and have been thinking of moving on for some time anyway to fulfil my passion. Perhaps I was giving off vibes that my heart lay somewhere else. I do agree that society pulls us into believing money equals security but maybe not happiness! If you're happy and passionate in what you believe in then maybe everything does fall into place naturally as what has happened for you.

  • Man living use to be so easy. As childs we never thought of live as something bad. Life used to be game for us and nothing was so important. The river of passion was stopped by "society". As small childs we gave a fuck about what is the outcome or whats gonna happen next. We weren´t in this situation of fear greed and force, it was just a game!

  • yes! it is sooo exciting to know we can once again live like that lets do it!

  • thank you soooo much!!!! you are amazing!!! inspiring!!! love your videos!!! you are sooo positive ! god bless you!!! thanks a million!!! i`m starting my 30 day raw chalange 2mrrow... wish me luck!!! i`ve tried before . i stayed on for like 2 weeks it felt great ! then some really uneccepted stuff happened and i got really depressed and broken.. but i`m back! and i will not waste another minute of my life being misserable or feeling sorry for myself! thank you for inspiring me!!!!

  • have a great success in raw :)

  • All of this is very true. I went through this about seven months ago when I contemplated quitting my job because I was unhappy with the job and life I was living. I quit and have been a completely different person ever since. I'm so much happier even though I don't have that amount of cash flow anymore. It's not money that makes me happy, it's living life the way I want. =:)

  • gangaji puts me to sleep. (yawn)

  • keep up the great life..PEACE :)

  • you sound like eckhart tolle, who sat on park benches... then wrote THe Power of Now. The epiphany you describe is happening now, for a lot of people, myself included. The new alignment of body mind and soul, to the Earth, to the Cosmos.... Follow Your Bliss and doors will open that you can not have anticipated. It's all so effortless, isn't it!

  • There is a spiritual journey in these kind of changes, huh?

  • Hello,

I have watched all you videos, and I thank you. Seriously, thank you. You are a light and Godsend. Thank you.

  • Wow, I think this message is so inspiring. You are changing lifes and giving people new perspective on things.

  • Thank you so much for this video. It is very inspirational. I always wanted to be a singer but let others discourage me. It has always called to me and until fairly recently, I never realized that's what that was, or that it was important or meaningful. I just listened to all the people around me and I let THEM tell me who I was instead of the other way around. If that makes any sense?

  • You are an amazing Orator, thank you for putting it so eloquently :)

  • LOVE it!!!

  • Living your dreams is a wonderful thing!

    Rayvin

  • Excellent Message, Phil. I can certainly testify when I quit my job and started my businesses. Yes, you have to THINK and ACT on what it is that you want out of life. If you can SEE if you can ACHIEVE it! Great job! Thanks

  • awesome video!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you Phil. I do believe this video came at the right time for me.

  • You are darling! I went through this same process over 2 years ago. I felt better playing with my passion. Life is amazing. The parachute opens once you jump. :) It's a little thing called trust! :)

  • You're such an inspiration! I've restarted the raw food diet about 2 weeks ago, and whenever I feel unsure or unmotivated on continuing, I make sure to watch your videos or read your blogs. It's so great to see somebody so happy and fulfilled by living the raw food lifestyle! It makes it nearly impossible for me to even consider going back to the SAD. I can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge and experience with the world; you're truly my inspirational support system.

  • Great video!

I can definitely relate to family being worried and talking about leaving job security and a retirement plan, etc. When you have such a strong desire and passion to do something you love, job "security" means nothing to you. I couldn't be happier now that I am following my passion.

Thank you Philip! You are such a great motivational speaker.

  • wow ur looking really good :)

  • Phil, you hit the nail on the head with my whole situation! Family and friends have always wondered why I would quickly move from one job to the next. I always felt unsatisfied and felt like I needed to be doing something else. My main passion is writing, and there is a book that I've been wanting to write for some time now; that book has been eating at my soul. But I'm writing it now, along with eating raw, and loving life! It just goes to show how powerful your purpose can be. It bails you out

  • good for you for actually following your bliss! many folks have difficulty making that leap..."leap and the net will appear" :)

  • Hi like dyour video. I did the same thing in march 2007. i left my good paying job to move near the great smokies (asheville, nc). i had no job, no health insurance but i had energy to follow my heart & raw. i just began eating raw and its been a great experience so far.

  • I have had a burning desire to quit some time, I know that there is more to my life. I have been on my job for 10 years. I do not want to move from job to job, I want to pursue my passions.

I am glad you were able to move out into a bigger space. That is growth, I am still waiting for that peace to move.

  • Excellent video!!! Beautifully put! The perfect life would be working a job you're passionate about or a job that makes you happy. I have many passions and dreams, and one day, I'll carry them out. But for now, I need to save up as much money as possible before I let go of jobs for good, especially during this awful economy at the moment. But I definately hear my calling, loud and clear. I just have to be patient for the right time to persue it. I love your videos ;) Have a beautiful day! ;)

  • What you said is so true. Happiness isn't the number in your bank account. We make too many things in this world necessary, when really it isn't.

  • graphic designer :) that's what I want to be and am going to pursue, though I've studied law. thank you for sharing, your video made my day. you rock!

  • great video!

  • I want to quit my job and start a hair care line:) That's my passion!!
