I'm English and I agree these guys are quite funny but it's a little harsh to complain that a middle aged man doesn't use the internet. To me this looks like the normal US habit of thinking everywhere else in the World should do what they do/be as advanced as they are. And judges wearing wigs - even the criminals approve of that here! For the same reason police and doctors wear a uniform...
Judicial Ignorance is usually an act to liven up proceedings.
Besides Judges often ask questions in case the Jury are confused and are reluctant to send hi ma note.
I don't see why wigs make any difference. Nobody is criticising American judges for wearing black gowns similar to the ones worn by British lawyers.
