It is the same Undertaker. Mark Calaway has talked about his history on some of his videos/dvds. He explained how he got a call from Vince McMahon in 1990 with an idea on being this new wrestler The Undertaker. He said he answered the phone saying 'hello' and a voice said 'is this the Undertaker?' and Mark was like 'who the hell is this?'.
