  • That's an awesome race. Do they still hold it every year? How much money is on the line for the winner? Seems expensive to field a team.

    I know it's an old question, but, no the last year of this race was 2002. I was lucky enough to do it that year.

    It was sort of replaced by the Tybee 500.
