Glinka was a composer who was not only one of music's great visionaries, but his

ability to move an audience & change social mores attests to the power and

emotional truth of his compositons & genius. Fascinating operatic performance

with the reactions of the audience as compellingly dramatic as the happenings

on the stage! A beautiful & touching triumph of Russian film making showing

the many supreme qualities of acting, singing & presentation for which Russia

is justly famous! Spasibo
