@TheCatholicknight Few will say yes (at least in their actions), but in the sufficiently long run it'll be forced on us. Either we'll wise up and control ourselves better, or nature will deal with us. Humanity is not immune to extinction. Not even close.
@TheCatholicknight I can say this: I believe that scientists and engineers need to be much more careful than they sometimes are. The idea that just because something is possible, it should be done, is insane. Science has the potential to make our world better with each generation, if we're careful. But I absolutely do believe in science.
@TheCatholicknight I'm going to address the last sentence of your comment only by saying that I genuinely believe that when dealing with significant scientific/naturalistic issues, only secular/rationalist/scientific arguments should be presented. Faith-based arguments are almost always inappropriate and almost never constructive in these settings.
faith gives us morals, instead of science which gives us false hope for a better world. and we humans keep weak ones alife as well. that's not natural, in the nature the weak ones die, and only the strong survive, that way nature maintains it''s population. okay it's pretty extreme what i'm telling right now but it's as simple as that. we humans put aside our natural behaviour and the rules of nature and that's how we will destroy ourselves and this planet.!
what are you talking about? The first part of the vid is talking about human's advancements in technology and showing how we can manipulate the environment around us. We're the only mammal that can do this to such a large extent.
I think something as big as that needs mentioning in a tv series titled: the Life of Mammals.
he's rigt, but who will say yes to this? we should stop overruling our planet. god created us and so he can destroy us.

The first part of the video does not belong to the series "Life of Mammals". It is only the second part of the video at or around 1:20.

I don't understand your comment, mate. Are you saying the first part shouldn't have been included in the series for some reason?

It is Life of Mammals, episode 10 - Food for Thought.
