I was like 2 or 3 when this happened but I was at daycare and my ball fell out of my hands and I chased it down and tripped over my friend and fell and my 2 front bottom teth went completely through my lowerlip and part of my upper one had to get like 5 or 6 stiches
I had a class that you just read too! It was awesome. I read so many books. :D That's awesome, I thought my school was the only one to have that class.
I had the same thing happen to my finger, for about 3 months I had a painful bump and when I finally decided to squeeze it out a giant splinter thing came out of my finger XD it's not just the fact you have no idea where or when you got it, it's the fact that what makes a pitch black splinter shaped like that.
one time i was walking on the docks at a marina. i was eight, and i wasn't wearing shoes. i got like... six bad splinters in my toe. we got 5 of them out, but the 6th took 2 weeks. my toe was blue D:
that totally happened to me once!! i was cleaning my kitchen floor and I guess i knelt on a piece of glass. the cut itself healed, but like 2 months later i started squeezing it and this shard of glass just came out. it was pretty graphic.
P.E. and I were never good pals, especially being homeschooled--it's harder working out alone. Anyway, okay. *wince* I'm joining in. 3 sets of 20 push-ups, 3 sets of 20 sit-ups, run 1 mile--3 times a week. As long as I know I'm not in this alone, I think I can do it : )
When I was a kid a group of friends and I used to race our bikes. And this one time be had a bad crash, like one person crashed into the dirt causing everyone else to crash into them, total domino effect! But one night when I was taking a bath I noticed a bump on my knee and (this is gross) there was a tiny rock inside my knee from the crash that my skin had just grown over. I though it was gross, kinda cool, but also kinda creepy.
I have a mark on my arm just like yours!! But it's been there forever and I don't think it's a blood splinter making spot. When I was in 1st or 2nd grade my family went to Salem MA to the witch hunt museum and while I was reading about the witch marks, dad pointed to that spot and said "you've got a witch mark" being the gullible kid I am, I freaked and was convinced they were going to burn me alive. I walked around covering it and jumping at every noise until we left
How do you become a trainee? I'm from Louisiana so there is no real river rafting places close. I'm really interested in becoming a river rafting guide. Can you offer any advice?
I'm pretty sure it's an actual splinter. They do resurface naturally. My guess though it that you bumped up against something and got a larger splinter in your arm that you removed, but it left behind a piece.
@FeitoVlogs As for my own injuries, I dislocated my knee standing in one place. I also have a scar from when I was younger and stuck my finger into the middle of the gears to an exercise bike.
About 4 years ago, I was playing with my cat. I went up two steps, threw a ball for the cat, and went down one step backwards. I thought I was on the landing, so I turned and wound up falling off that last step, landing on my knees on the landing - and almost falling off that and down another flight. Luckily I had grabbed onto the railing, but the middle finger on my right hand was squished between the railing and my chest. It was swollen for 2 weeks.
I found this story on google, aparently splinters like that can sit in your body for years, what it most likely was a very small splinter that over the years had white blood cells attach to it in order to try to break it down, due to the size instread it just built up over the years untill you got to the exsist point which is probabley a area in which your pores clog regularly and so are very weak. This spliter could have started out anywhere in your body.
@DreamHopeLive sorry mispel, "exit point" also it most likely was broken off from a bigger splinter, btw Jason if you researched a little this isn't impossible just unlikely
When I was three, I slipped on a bath mat while I was brushing my teeth, and my tooth went through my lip. Six stitches. Also, two summers ago I did a summer PE session and through the course of three weeks I rolled my ankle, broke two fingers and got a mild concussion, all in separate incidents.
the biggest scar I have is on my knee from falling down onto frozen gravel about 3 years ago... I'm pretty boring when it comes to injuries. but that's probably good
I crashed my bike. My chin split open and I had to get 11 stitches. And I got a cut in my mouth too which had to get 3-4 stitches for the same accident.
That's a pretty gnarly-looking splinter there, Luke. Maybe you're developing mutant powers. Soon you'll be able to fire those splinters out of your fingers at evildoers.
I had a really sweet PE class too. We had a climbing wall at our school, and once a week we had a 2.5 hour class and so we'd go do fun things like bowling, or canoeing or mini-golf :) We also got to go on a camping trip!
The week after my birthday, in fifth grade, I had gotten a loft bed for my birthday...and I was trying to get something off of it. I was standing on a chair, and the chair kinda...imploded...into nine pieces...and I'm not sure how, but I managed to break both bones in my right arm, near the wrist. My dad nearly decked the doctor in the emergency room because he told me that resetting the bone wouldn't hurt. He LIED...
I broke my pinky oncew falling off my horse, but didn't really realize it at the time because I was super bruised up and I thought that was why it hurt...so now my pinky sticks out at a funny angle. I call it "permanently fancy" :)
that happend to me! i had a splinter like that in my leg for like 2 years because i was afraid to squeeze it and then i finally did and my body had encased it with some kind of like skin thing.
LUKE!!! That's totally happpened to me before!! I pulled something exactly like that out of my arm about a year ago and had absolutely no idea what it was/how it got there/ why it wished to cause me such irritable pain. It wasn't quite as big and spear like as yours was, though. Probably about half the size.
That was no splinter, that was practically a tree trunk in terms of relation to normal splinters. Maybe your body made it as a defence mechanism, so if you ever get attacked you have something to fight back with?
That is one HUGE splinter! Good luck with the exercise challenge. I'm trying to get fit too. I'm doing set ups, some weights and going for runs when I can.
When I was 3 my finger got cut off... the weirdest part was that it got stuck between a doorway and got just like torn into shreds. The doctor was even able to sow it back togather.
I broke my leg when I was 5 - by slipping on a Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone poster.... I always like to think that Daniel Radcliffe's face broke my leg XD
Accordingly, I think that you just didn't realize that you had the splinter and eventually, you moved in a way that shifted it and made it painful, so you noticed it. I have to agree with Jason that your body probably didn't create a blood splinter.
When I was younger, I once had a giant splinter in my knee but had no idea for the longest time. I always wondered why this scab I had didn't heal after months and so I finally had the sense to show my mom, who is a nurse, and she pulled out a massive splinter.

Pshhh. I have a splinter story you all will love. You should have seen my one friend....We were Tweedledum and Tweedledee in a "modern" version of "Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass" at our high school this past summer. I "Falcon Punched" her, and she was supposed to slide backwards on our stage. Well....
she landed wrong, and got a literally 7 inch splinter and a few tiny half an inch ones in her BUTT during the middle of a performance....yuppp. She says she has a scar the shape of a tree, and any time something bad is going to happen, the scar hurts. We call it her Voldemort scar.
So yeah....my Falcon Punches cause Voldemort scars. :D hahahaha
@x3Elisa@llmcox I think it was a lightning bolt on her foot? You can see it (unless it's a funny birthmark or something) at the end of her last video on this channel when she was showing us where she got stung.
This month is national runner's month so I decided to run everyday! :] And maybe I'll start doing the other things too and join in with you! Only problem: I failed today because I realized that my only good running sneakers are in my gym locker at school... I'll start Monday I guess hahaha. But I think this is likely to keep me motivated, knowing that other cool people are trying to get in shape as well =]
I can totally relate to the "finding splinters you can't remember ever getting" thing. I can't remember a single splinter that I've gotten that I know where it came from.
Maybe you are turning into a porcupine. You know, with the way the shoot their quills as a defense thing. That's what you must be doing! Porcupine man! hehe.
You're transforming into Shrubberyman. You grow blood splinters out of your flesh, and when you're really pissed, you can launch them at your enemies. Oh yes.
Yes, Luke, we can see it. We could see it the whole time.
I have this weird black/brown dot on my finger, and I think it's a splinter. I'm afraid to squeeze it, but you possibly have inspired me.
I've broken both arms (real pain since I scoop ice-cream for a job) and I've shattered my foot/broke four toes. I've sprained all my fingers and have scars up and down my entire body from jelly fish attacks, candle making, cooking, running around and so many more I can't even begin to tell you.

@foreverjynxed I mean... Um... it was TOTALLY a blood splinter. My arm was jealous of the other wood that had splintered in my arm, so it created its own. XD
ughh my stomach turned at that splinter story. Blechh.... You know what I got a blood splinter too once (okay, no I didn't, but do you feel more normal now xD)
THE END IS AMAZING!!! HAHA

@foreverjynxed I mean... Um... it was TOTALLY a blood splinter. My arm was jealous of the other wood that had splintered in my arm, so it created its own. XD

Kristina also filmed a child from behind a tree at a wedding...you need a chain link fience AND a shrub to beat her creepiness, I think.

My friend's grandma was sewing and somehow got a needle in her arm, which, so she says, came out her armpit weeks later. Weeeeird.

It is currently snowing in WY. Have fun with that. Chances are it will warm up in two weeks though...
Also, I just want to say...I think couples who work out together are the cutest.
