Samus: Down and B heaps: keeps you at same level goin down very slowly.

Snake: Up and B: then down and B and then Down and B again: makes you go up very fast but eventluy killing you...

Actually you're wrong Mr. description. You could set yourself on one of the spikes and bounce up and down indefinitely, because no one could come and get you.

Actually if you notice, the initial spawn points are in separated chambers, all respawns after that result in the person appearing at the top middle, not in one of the boxed in areas. So I'm not wrong...

No no, I understand him, but that's entirely wrong, watch the video closely, where you first spawn, and where people spawn after death, are two different locations. Watch the video again, picking any character, look at where they start, and assume they don't fall through the box area. You'll notice when people die again, the spawn at the center of the top of the map, not at the original points, keeping someone who stayed in the place perfectly safe.

my friend built a stage even WORSE! It's almost exactly like this, with no ladders, the walls are made of spikes, and there is a floor. Made of spikes. But since there are holes in the walls it's still possible to die in.

just stand on the spikes, you would last a very long time being hit by them, especially because no one else would be able to reach you until they died (besides that you can re-jump each time you get hit, also do the up B, so you would be hit less often)

I made a stage with six little starting platforms and the rest ladders. Its basically for practicing aerial attacks. On that stage, I beat a lvl 9 bowser (2 stock) without getting hit. XD

If you actually tried it, you'd find that you couldn't fall down unless you wanted to. The spikes make you bounce straight up and that's it. Plus, the blocks come back, so you could land on it, get your bearing, then go back on the spikes.
