  • thanks for this vid, my Dad gave me his graflex and a rolleiflex too.

  • What SHOE?

  • Great video!!!

  • I am taking a large format photo class next semester. I am really looking forward to it.

  • Other than eBay, where can we buy a Graflex???

  • @User98685 I have spotted them in antique stores. If in your area you have any sort of camera shop that takes 2nd hand they may have something.

  • . . . so thats what film looks like. Been shooting film for about 5 years, never seen it!

  • Mat and Michael

I am a Professional Photographer and haven't used a Large Format Camera in years. It is nice to see what you are doing, and even for me it is great for a refresher... Thank You, Sir David

  • JARED LETO?

  • Just to clarify, there are 3 different back types - Graphic, Graflex and Graflock. Only the Graflock back will work with pack film and only by entirely removing the ground glass first.

  • please do another feature on the crown graphic in the future as we would like to learn more about shooting in this format. =) thanks! keep the great work up guys.

  • Will the polaroid 500 back work with this specific crown graphic because I have the back and I will be able to purchase the camera soon hopefully. Thanks guys keep up the great work!

  • SO glad you did this...have my own Crown that I'm am quite befuddled by (my Dad was nice enough to give me one ;-). Was nice to sit with mine and follow along with you. I wonder if my Polaroid 500 back would work with the Fuji film...hmm...

  • I just opened one of the three film holders he gave me with the camera and there was film in it...ugh!!! Luckily, they're marked, but man, I woulda had them stored in the fridge had I known they were loaded. So now I have at least five shots ;-) I read something about someone processing 4x5 in a Paterson tank...may have to look into that.

  • @AnalogSoulPhoto Polaroid 500 backs will absolutely work with Fuji FP-100C 45 film!

  • @AnalogSoulPhoto After a bit of research, the 500 backs will sometimes have problems with the current film. The better suggestion is to look for the newer Polaroid 550 back.

  • @mat4226 He wasn't asking whether the film would fit into the holder (which it obviously will), he was asking if the holder will fit into the Crown Graphic - and the answer is probably not, as only late models have sufficient "travel" in the sprung ground glass to fit a pack film holder under.

  • please do more video on large format photography :))))))

  • I like to keep things classy when recording FPP stuff. :p

  • Great shirt Mat. ;)

  • awesome, Ive wanted a crowngraphic for AGES! so cool
