When I edit the terrain.png file on photoshop (for windows) I can't open the pic after! It says windows photo viewer either doesn't support it, or isn't updated but it is, and photoshop wont even open it now! I saved it as terrain.png what do I do?

I beleive it is the second dropdown bar, choose unicode 8bit.

I know that glass is 20 but when I count down in rows like you said, glass is 50!!!!

I then tried counting the columns, top to bottom (which I know is incorrect) and glass ended up being 20!! I am really confused.

Everyone that has the 'block shows up purple' problem.

Try this:

copy the terrain.png into a .zip folder and put the .zip folder in jars/texturepacks.

Edit it before you put it in the .zip folder unless you've already done it.

now when you open startclient.bat, click mods and texturepacks and choose the new texturepack there.

now your block should have a new texture.

what you can do, is to add a texture pack with your mod that people have to use when they are using the mod. but that is a bad idea :P

@TheHelbringr Oh LOL OOPS MY BAD. I was playing around with a new type of block that makes you bounce really high when you walk on it, and I must have left it in the template by accident... All you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of the template and delete the part that says

@number3CoDplayer I don't think there is a problem with that actually. The reason mine is messed up is because I counted wrong and I used some funky transparent texture by accident. My mistake was, that although the last texture in the first row is #15, the thing is it is actually the 16th texture because we started counting at 0. Therefore, there are 16 textures in each row, so my counting was off.
