and i modded it myself with newer firmware.

i made an adapter cable for the DVD power.

and plugged the sata cable in my PC.

then used jungleflasher to hack the firmware to the newest xtreme LT+

i never had to pay for a PC card or anything .

you can do the hack for free in 5 minutes if you make an adapter cable , that has 12 v, 5volts and 3.3 volts .

a wire for eject(3.3v) and a wire for mode B (3.3v)

then i can advise everyone ,to buy a twin core fan from XCM and a XCM turbo fan for the rear .

you can also buy little heatsinks for the memory units.

the grafics heatsink is the biggest heat problem.

you can buy a bigger one ,with passive heatsink.

i bought a broken xbox for 20 bucks and fixed it with this .

now i got a cheap xbox that works better then the stock model.

Ok I got the red ring of death a couple weeks ago and it just went away after a minute. Then I got another red ring of death today the day I got xbox live. I maneged to fix it but now when I try to play a game it freezes and goes all fuzzy. But I am not gettin an error saying E 74. I just want someone to tell me what to do. My 360 had e74 and i fixed it by doing this: 1) make sure xbox is off, 2) hold down the sync button on the xbox for a few seconds and turn it on while still holding the sync button, 3) your xbox should start up normally. What this does is clear the system of any types of errors (including e74). Mine has been working for 3 days after this and is running gta4 as we speak. Let me know if this works please so I can spread the word!

@ricardop56 was it ripped off? If it is ripped off call microsoft and tell them you accidentaly took it off, it that doesnt work then you could get it fixed by somebody or buy a new one. I called microsoft to get it fixed and it took 1 1/2 weeks total to send and return. about 5 days to get to them then 3-4 days to get back to me but it probably depends on where you live.

yeah you have to open the xbox, remove the xclamp on the gpu, and clean the gpu with a q-tip and some nail polish remover, remove 1 set of washers when u put the clamp back on, then turn it on without the fan while putting pressure on the heatsink until it overheats(2 left red rings) then let it sit a half hour and BAM its fixed..and stop posting ads mrfacebook u fagget

theres no washers to remove... just the xclamps an the parts of the heat sink u attach the xclamps too... ive repair over 30 xbox 360 now... an the best solution ive found it to do everything u said except the washer thing... just try to bend your xclamps alil more b4 puttin them back on an hopefully u dont have to replace them with screws for the fix to work

E74 error code is a problem with the ANA/HANA chip inside the xbox. a spoecific game cannot cause a problem with the internal hardware of a console, although i have read reports of people blaming their PS3 failure on modern warfare 2 because it "over-extends the console". I just recently had E74 on my younger brothers console and fixed it using the towel trick, it is now working fine, and hopefully will stay that way.
