  • @gkilgore76 I'm always up for crawlin' let me know when & where your going when ya go.

  • Nice job for the Red truck the green one u need a bit more Pratice it look like every time u got to a rock you just tried to gas over it and jump it instead of actually crawl it.

  • =_)

  • hey there love the scx10's im working on mine wat wheelbase are those are they 11.4 or 12.3 im wandering i like the bronco 's wheelbase alot

  • @240rocket Stock Axial SCX10 axles.

  • @axialviper That isn't what he asked. It looks like the Bronco has a 11.4" wheelbase.

  • @axialviper wheelbase...

  • awesome video and great hilux body!!!!

  • @VenomRcs thanks

  • where did you find the toyota body? ive been looking and i cant find one

  • @CnRDirt RppHobby . c o m (Toyota Hilux)

  • great vid! love the toyota:)

  • Awesome vid! hope my truck turns out half as nice as yours! :)

  • Nice rigs guys, great vid. Might have to fire up the Hancho today!

  • Nice vid! Good camera angles. You guys have some nice trucks. I notice that you are running a bent steering link, did you bend it yourself, if so how long is it, and what are the advantages? Thank-you.

  • @nitrofreakmanho I did bend it, not really an advantage to it, just a batter angle for the servo horn, doesn't put the horn under bind or stress with it bent. plus its different, something no one really does.

  • definitely not coheed and cambria pretty sure its creed

  • @billbrown52dt if u watched further into the video there is coheed an cambria

  • do you guys ever go to differant states for competitons and events

  • @jmloudon97 ummm, Moab Uath is about as fare out as I've gone so fare.

  • cool beans !

  • lol at 5:05 i assume u meant 'winch time' not 'wench time'

    nice video

  • put some weights on the front that will help keep it down ...

  • @urdadddy1 old video, check out some of the newer vid's, thanks though.

  • Were did u get that yota body?

  • cool vid, keep em comin!!

  • do u use a dif

  • @12monkey00 dif? I'm running axial axle's, there locked front and rear. but thats stock so what do you mean dif?

  • @axialviper dif lock so the wheels turn at the same speed

  • @12monkey00 lol o.i.c. ya the Axial axle's come with lockers when you buy a truck that you can put in. mine is locked up front and rear, some people leave the front out so they can turn better but I like them locked. so yes all the truck in the video's have lockers in them.

  • @axialviper thanks mine is to

  • Very nice trucks.

How did you mount the steering servo on the chassis?

    It's a kit?

  • @SandMan1684 HandBrothers servo kit

  • I just bought a scx-10 today with the tacoma body on it I was'nt even planning on getting one because I'm building a real 99 TRD tacoma street legal rock crawler right now but when I saw it with the tacoma body I had to get it. You guy's have any info such as web sites or general info I should know anything helps thanks.

  • @TheCaferocker w w w. rpphobby . c o m

    and w w w . rccrawler . c o m

  • @axialviper Thanks for the info I'm going to check out these sites right now:)

  • on the toyota i mean

  • @kennysteez in this vid they are hpi buggy shocks, 110mm in the front and 95mm in the rear

  • wut shocks are u using

  • Thanks, I wish I could find a body to make my crawler my Montero, that would be so cool. And thanks for the weight ideas, I'll try it out as soon as I get a chance.

  • Do you guys have wheel weights? I have a friend that got an SCX-10 Truck and one of the first things he did was wrap the rims with lead soldier. On steep climbs like at the beginning it seems to plant the tires better. And would you know of any body that could be painted/modified to resemble a 1987 Mitusbishi Montero 2 door?

  • @NASAVirtual yes, we run weights in all our rc trucks, so go as high as 8 to 12 oz a tire. We've tryed alot of things, sticky weights for car tires work the best. ProLine has a rim that comes with weights already, Titus 1.9 and 2.2 rims, they are what I'm running on the Toyota now and I like them alot. As for painted/ modified Mitusbishi, no sorry.

  • hey mate i'm looking to get a new brussless combo for my scx10 fj40. what motor are you runing and what do you think i should get thanks ?

  • @TheKahno don't know, i'm running a sidewinder with a 45t novak motor, on a 3 cell battery.

  • the music made me want to kill myself. i hope thats normal

  • @LevelCarnivore1 lol, ya don't like Creed, or Coheed & Cambria then.

  • wat band is this

  • @93FORDBRONCO1 :) the video name is the brand. The chasses is an

Axial scx-10, the body is a Tamiya Toyota Hilux, its a custom build, i used different brands for almost everything. you cant buy this anywhere other then off someone that built it. :)

  • @axialviper

srry man i meant the first BAND not brand its all good i have a scx10 myself but mines got nothing on yours

  • @93FORDBRONCO1 no worrys, :) my truck seems to change alot, always adding to it ya know.

  • @93FORDBRONCO1

so what band is that at the beggining

  • @93FORDBRONCO1 Creed

  • video is better than most for sure. nice cars

  • Great video, sweet crawlers....terrible music.

  • @Toofastkidd thanks

  • The honcho needs wheel weights. It's having trouble climbing. Also get a 55T motor!! It has good torque. I have a 65t and I got it for $20. It has soooo muchh torque!! But it's really slow. It's for like competition use.

  • @zbabar3000 what Honcho? The trucks in this vid are scx-10's. One has a Tamiya Toyota Hilux body, different brand from Axial all together, and the other has a Hpi Ford body, also nothing to do with a Honcho, sorry man. The Ford does have a 55T Novak motor, The Toyota has a 50T Novak. Now the Ford is no more and the Toyota is a tuber with a 45T Novak. Check out some of our newer video's. Thanks though.

  • You have a winch on your rc crawler. I can't decide if that's cool or pointless.......it's cool. lols

  • Sick intro and nice video im getting the scx10

  • @jth1997 just go to my page and look at all of them in my videos. i've got close to 70 now.

  • i belive ur hilux is to light infront... just a observation i made... well, thats how it looks when ur car keeps jumping when u drive uåwards if u understand what im sayin. or maybe not. i may be wrong :P

  • @sagerette you should watch my newer video's. its changed alot from 9 months ago. go to my profile and look at my video's. theres alot more going on.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! People walkin in the back!

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • i like this video, its sweet. esp at the beginnin when you jump the trucks when music starts. what mods are done to the green one?

  • @RCenthusiast927 you can see whats in the truck if you watch my video on it. its called Toyota Build

  • where did u get the whinch and how much was it?

  • @taylor0310 tcscrawlers has them for like around 30

  • Which toyota body is that? I can't fine any online =[

  • tamiya toyota hilux body

  • @screename9520 just go to rc4wd.com and go to the tamiya brand, and get the toyota hilux body

  • What mods were needed to accommodate the hilux body?

  • Non, when it had the bed on it, I used the body post, two in the hood and two in the bed.

  • non, I used two body post in the hood and two post in the bed. I did a build vid on this truck when I first got it.

  • home come the servo rods are bent

  • to help with stress. bent helps the angle so the servo isn't pushing so hard.

  • grea5 looking rigs and nice vid are the bodies lexan

  • thanks, and no there ABS

  • lol hikers

  • nice scaling!

  • thanks

  • Thanks for the quick replies! Is that a Tamiya toyota body?

  • what are you using for esc and motor setup?

  • Castle Creations (sidewinder) esc

    and a Novak 45T motor.

    3 cell lipo battery.

the battery makes a huge difference.

  • You break a lot of stuff? Like what? perhaps, should i get an SCX10, should i get a few upgrades at the same time? Like a high torque servo or something?

You wouldnt happen to know the dif between an SCX10 TR and an SCX10 would you? The most I can figure is that the bumpers are different as are the bodies. is there anything else to it?

  • ya the difference is just the bodys and bumpers. chasses, wheels, shocks are all the same. we break alot of stuff because we crawl our scalers alot harder then other people, we jump them and roll them down stuff all the time. With how much I abused my truck, I think that Axial is the best brand out there for comp and scalers... No you shouldn't have to upgread right off the bat, but it is a good idea depending on what your going to build. if it has alot of (Lbs) then ya, upgread everthing.

  • I often see vids with both these and Tamiya CC01's tooling around doing hte same crawling stuff - which is better do you think? Theres a guy I spoke to on RCgroups who says he got an SCX10 stock and never needed to upgrade it and rarely needed to do any serious maintenance. What are your thoughts on this?

  • In this vid the Bronco is stock. My Toyota had hpi shocks and a Hand Brothers servo mount. other wise it was stock to. It all depends on what you are into. We crawl stuff with our scalers that most people crawl with there comp crawlers so we break "alot" of stuff all the time, if you've got to replace something then replace it with something better is what i always say. The scx10 "is" the best chasses out there hands down, starting out with an scx10 RTR or ARTR is the way to go.

  • whats the make of that toyota body? It fits the SCX10 chassis so well! Very convincing.

  • And the Axial SCX10 Trail Honcho is frickin' cool. Easy way to have a tuber with out all the build time and cheap to build at that.

  • watchin the yoder goin airborne was great, good camera angle.. nice video !!

  • thank you, it was a ton of fun to make this vid.

  • or timber wolf? and was wondering if u would sell it?

  • I don't think he'll ever sell it, but everthing does have a price, it all depends on if the price it right or not. I'll ask.

  • hey do u still have ur wreckluse?

  • Ryan T, does. I had the TimberWolf.

  • haha dang the tires were starting too smoke at 5:22

  • :) we try

  • what weight shock oil you put in the toyota?

  • I love the people walking in the background. Nice rides!

  • thanks

  • what are you guys running for shocks/springs? i cant get mine to articulate like that=/

  • red truck, axial shocks, stock.

green truck, hpi shocks with soft springs. now I'm running rc4wd scale shocks and soft springs. much better. check out some of our newer videos

  • need some lower gears

  • ummm, my gears are so low that i snap off drive shafts like no other. Its just got a high turn motor for more wheel speed to get up stuff.

  • Very cool, very fun to watch.

I definately need to get myself one!

  • thanks. I'd go with an Axial AX-10 for a comp crawler or if you go with a scaler then the Axial SCX-10

there the easyest to learn (how to), ya know.

  • Is it just me or is it more interesting to watch these little rc crawlers that it is real ones?

  • I'll tell ya this, its a lot cheeper to fix my rc then it is to fix my 1.1 jeep.

and it don't hurt to roll it either

  • love the intro!

  • thanks,

  • "I think I am going this way" lol

  • glad i could help

  • great video but where did you get the toyota body and whos it made by?

  • that's a tamiya hilux body. you have to make custom mounts.

  • tamiya hilux, and i used the body post on the shocks. there the stock mounts for the chassie and they worked fine.

  • is the axial scx10 rtr the same as the axial ax10 but with a different body? I'm having a hard time figuring that out. thanks

  • no, the AX10 is a comp crawler. the scx10 is a scaler. nothing about them are the same. night and day. most of my older vid's are with an AX10. all the vid's with the toyota are with the scx10.

  • @axialviper

the ax10 and scx10 share the same drive line. Mainly the chassis and links are different. I have both trucks

  • drive line's on my Ax10 are bigger then my Scx10. And my Scx10 drive lines have steel ends. The only thing thats the same on mine where the axles and tranny.

  • i am into nitro rc trucks... an im starting to get tired of the extreame cost to keep them maintained, an wanna get one of these rigs.

an was wondering if, there was a big differences between the scx10 rtr trail ready truck, and the kit truck.

if you have any clue on a big difference between them could u let me know befor i go an buy one

  • if you buy the kit you have to buy extra parts for it it might not come with the electronics so you would have to buy them separate but it would give you more freedom if you wanted to upgrade them because u can just buy what you want. but i would go with the rtr if you want to just get out and go.

  • okay, i have all the electronics etc etc, cuz i have a 2006 tmaxx 2.5 nitro that i blew up(opps) and i was just guna take all the servos, receiver, an esc, off that an puss them on the kit, because ive noticed the kits quite a bit cheaper

  • I would start out with the RTR, you'll get all the electronics already init to start. Make it easyer to get going and then change out your stuff as you go. FIRST thing to do is upgrad your tranny to a steel one. out drives tin to break alot,

  • sweet body, where state and city is this????

  • Grand Junction, Colorado, USA.

  • LOL 9:17 and 9:33 are prob my fave parts, there so dramatic, lol but this whole vid is really great! 5/5! make some more!, lol

  • Thanks,

  • i love it man, whats your wheelbase? nice rear end stand. ryan t showin out huh? great action bud. hey i saw my landy out there lol got to give the honeys props.:}

  • lol, thanks. We went to this place called the potholes, it a strem that runs off into a water fall that people jump off. good for family time, swing rockbuggin' and food. Can't beat that with a stick.
