Cool! That's what VW dune buggies are about.

All you needed was a VW front and rear end, some pipe and a welder and you had a fun ride for little cash or even for free.

Not so sure you can do this with a new VW bug though.

top speed now is about 90 km/h, but rally buggies are not meant to have real good top speed but real good torque.. Built it only when i was 15...

hey by the way that is how it is now... Its much better, but this is made in 2 days, on tag welded.. and well yea it is pathetic then, a few repairs to be done. What do you expect for a 50 bhp buggy and working on a budget of only $300 dollars.. It costed me only that much for the whole project..
