Totally awesome! I especially love how you captured the drama with the 'Ark Theme starting at (1:27). This must have been difficult. John Williams would be proud. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work on The Miracle of the Ark, especially the part when everything turns nasty.
There are several midi files which will help you with your notes. URLs don't work with YT comments so here's the tinyurl code: dee59r
I always thought this scene was a worthy end to Raiders. A good ending to a film like that must have been hard to create from the concept to filming; very climactic. The Tabernacle is eerie especially when you know what's going to happen.
This is one of my favorite bits of score for any movie ever.
The piece that plays when the ark is opened at 1:48 I've always interpreted to be the theme of the covenant...mystical and beautiful, and saved for this precise moment in the film. When the face melting starts you hear what sound like whips, which ties into the oppression the Hebrews faced and the casting of the Nazis as modern day Pharaohs.
So much to think about just a little piece of music. Thanks for your interpretation!
Your out of tune piano actually makes the songs sound pretty good
By the way, Great Job

If someone ever did a silent remake of this. This would be the perfect piano music.

@VWVVWVVWV Thanks very much! :D It's a pity I only had access to an old, out-of-tune piano at the time, haha.

@1taken Appropriate for the film and the era though.

@FishfilmInc Ah, right - I was referring to the Raiders March statement at 2:38. =) Sorry, it's been a while since I recorded this, haha.

You missed a few parts.
pixopusher93 2 years ago
Yep - I intentionally skipped several parts because they don't translate well to the piano, as described in the information box to the right. :)

Nicely done. Kind of like the old silent movies that needed live music.

Amazing!I remember that ending...I was watching it with my mom when I was eleven,it was pretty scary.
You didn't put in Indy telling Marion to close her eyes.
