  • Why are some of you referring to Aer Lingus as a low cost carrier, it is not.

  • Thank you for sharing. I think i'm flying Aer Lingus in December.

  • dont u just love the fancy music in the background to it <3

  • I'm from Ireland

  • Cute

  • Great video =D !!!

  • Is that screen on the seat in front of you?

  • jeez are enough people coughing on that flight??? :S

  • @liob1611 idk why, but it seems like on a plane EFERYBODY coughs. lmao XD

  • Love aer lingus, love flying, ive never tried rynair, add me phen

  • i would be fucking panicking if the right engine just started in mid air.

  • ahh i love riding air lingus. ireland rules

  • @trancefo4life LOVE the green paintjob AER LINGUS ROCKS!

  • is it an A330-200 or an A330-300?

  • This was an A330-302, EI-DUZ.

  • no sometimes they do they do the safety deminstration manualy

  • @TheJackandbridie Like when the screen video fails. i seen that happen once when i was travelling on an A330 from dublin to shannon. the aircraft was continuing to boston

  • all aer lingus planes have been switched to a330s and i have seen this video so many times i can reapeat it !!

  • Hey look Robbie Keane is doing the safety demonstration XD

  • I see ryanair737400 is leaving abusive comments down there.

Jaysis Micheal O'Leary.. get a better username.. and airline.

  • Saw this video on an Aer Lingus Airbus A330 recently when I was flying from Dublin to London Heathrow.

  • @derrinirl an a330 to london from dublin ? cool

  • why did aer lingus use the A 330 for a dublin to heathrow?

  • @oliverjumelle Have no idea. When I saw "K" in my seat number I wondered what they were using. Found myself on an A330.

I've been flying from Dublin to London Heathrow and back four times a year for the past ten years and every flight has been an A320 or A321. I was surprised that they used an A330 on this route as it is normally used for their transatlantic flights.

  • well i use to travel from shannon to bordeaux via dublin every summer when i was in school. the shannon to dublin leg was always an A330/200 or 300 series. the bordeaux leg was always an A320

  • @oliverjulelle Aer Lingus have an A330 flying between Shannon and Dublin as they stopover at Shannon when going between Dublin and New York.

I booked a flight for few friends to Bordeaux two years ago. They went from Waterford Airport.

  • @derrinirl the normal A320 or A321 may have been out for mantanance

  • I pissed myself laughing with the guy in the toilet. They've changed the video now but there used to be the guy in the toilet and someone slaps the smoke out of his hand hahaha

  • @daluifh331 omg i remember that! XD

  • They did not mension the electronics part

  • why do they have one plane out of all the transatlantic fleet without AVOD anyway? that sounds kinda weird

  • do all aer lingus flights to the us hav vod for each passanger?

  • Lol, he frowns at 3:32 when he has to get rid of his cigarette.

  • @LoopholemanIII lol i love that part, its so funny,.

  • the overhead bins look like those from the boeing 767

  • The music sounds like Enya. Very fitting for the Aer Lingus brand..

  • @FlexCrush1981 yea its the song called Orinoco Flow i can still remember they have been using that for almost 10 years :D

  • @FlexCrush1981 it is Enya, Orinoco Flow (:

  • @AerLingus2308 Its actually a song just written for the video, although they do sound quite familiar!

  • Why is there no irish accent?

  • that is man

  • it is an irish accent !!!

  • That is "an" Irish accent, there are a few different accents in the Country.

  • We don't all speak like drunk leprichorns.

  • oh that's races

  • that is an Irish accent !

  • does everyone get thir own tv im flyin from shannnon on EI111 OR DO WE'VE TO SHARE?

    Thanks! :)

  • Hahahaha. I was expected the safety video to have a strong irish accent. :(

  • 2:33 - looks like he's pulling a cooked turkey out from under his seat, haha. I love the background music, too. Reminds me of Enya. :)

  • Awh savage.. i cant wait to go to america now..:)

  • does the A330 have monitors like that.. thats cooil and what do they play on them.. films..? haha

  • aer lingus are class!!!

  • Great safety video! I love the animated character, and I like the music. It sounds a lot like Enya's "Orinoco Flow". And why not? An Irish song for an Irish airline!

  • How interesting. Do they not use Irish in the Safety video?

  • No only in the greeting and good bye anouncements As far as i know!

  • thibaulthalpern: I was on an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Heathrow and the only Irish they used was "Failte" at the beginning of a few announcements :-P

  • What a shame? The national carrier does not acknowledge its own national language.

  • Aer Lingus cabin crew make a short welcome on board announcement in Irish and the arrival announcement is also finished off in Irish. The Aer Lingus inflight magazine is named "Cara" which means "friend" and information pages in the magazine are in both English and Irish. The actual name of the airline, "Aer Lingus " translates into "Air Fleet" so they do use the national language quite a bit.

  • Well, that's not a lot of Irish. I mean, it's all fairly static except for the brief onboard welcome. The flight attendants don't speak Irish, I guess.

  • Well it's not widely spoken in Ireland, the percentage of Aer Lingus passengers who speak it must be very, very low but Aer Lingus do continue to acknowledge the language in various forms which is a lot more than can be said for other Irish companies. I believe it is Aer Lingus policy for cabin crew to know the announcements, on my recent flights Spanish and British crew members made announcements in Irish so Aer Lingus do make an effort to continue it's use on their flights.

  • That's good to know. Yes, I do hear the population of Irish speakers is dwindling. What a shame.

  • @thibaulthalpern Well in fairness, what would be the point in them having their safety demonstrations or anything else for that matter, in Irish? When carrying passengers from all over Europe and the United States, who would understand? It would be pointless. They do as much as they can in the Irish language, but when it comes to safety, shouldn't they speak a language that the majority understand?

  • @thibaulthalpern They don't speak irish because a majority of people in Ireland haven't got a clue how to speak it. The language is dying out I suppose. Not many people are taking an interest in it. P.s: I am irish. :)

  • @TheDarkRavenRose ffs we have to learn it even though its useless outside and inside the country

  • @clubbythe :L we learn it but no one actually cares. XD

  • its no longer our national language, the british made sure of that, took em 800 years to beat it into us but when its speak ur native tounge, or have ur entire family tortured wiped out, and have your lands confiscated, then i think youd choose learn english 2

  • im going on a Aer Lingus A330 is my fav airbus it and the a380

  • to san francisco lol it **my**

  • hiya=] i always go on air lingus but im gaining this fear of flying does anyone know how safe it is? xxxxxx thank yhuu xxx

  • lol im not sure if this will help but flying is safe we had this study at school that more people die by getting kicked by a donkey then being in a plane crash.

besides you hear on the new's about a crash maybe 1 to 2 times a year :)

  • Aer Lingus is the second safest airline second to Qantas. i think the last aer lingus crash was a conspiracy due to people saying the british shot it down, anyway ive always got stuck on the shitty old ones with the overhead monitors, but i remember when leavin jfk @ 6:30 they played the simpsons, and on the way back some funny comedy shows

  • lol When i went to san francisco and I saw this vid, my sister was laughing crazy.

  • Whats Aer Lingus like as an airline? Should I book with them?

  • they are awesome!! really nice crews just eat before you fly :)

  • Aer Lingus are quite good, like most low cost airlines they charge for food and baggage but their service is much better. The seats are very comfortable leather with recline and adjustable headrests, the food on board is tasty but you do have to pay for it and the cabin crew are friendly and professional. You also get your seat assigned at check in so there is no rush for the plane at boarding like Easyjet and Ryanair. Try Aer Lingus out, I'm sure you'll have nice flights!

  • Yes aer lingus is a good airline id recomend using them

  • where do u want 2 go 2 ?

  • MilliVanilli2007: I'd say that for a low-fare airline, they are great. I had a choice between Ryanair and Aer Lingus once. It was a no-brainer. I chose to pay a few Euros more to fly Aer Lingus because I prefer to entrust my life to that airline. Plus, they landed in Heathrow with easy connections to London via the tube, rather than other London airports that require you to take a train or bus. Self-service check-in booths were a plus. And so was seat assignment.

  • Oh my god... they should have just used Bosco for this...

  • Ahh! Excellent! I have been looking for this forever! Thanks!

  • Lol 3:31

  • Nice video! The new AVOD system looks very good.

  • "push forward the seat back in front of you"............ Typical Aer Lingus. Could have said it differently (Before people have a go, yes I know what it means, but George Carlin would have a field day with that!! :D)

  • What else could they say ??? who is George carlin anyway ??

  • An amazing comedian; I think they're referencing his infamous act mocking silly airline/airport semantics.

  • i was on this exact same plane on the 4th and 5th redeye from boston to dublin what seat were you in?

  • yeah but they use this plane on more than just the JFK-DUB route

  • Oh ok I get ya now... I thought you meant that same flight!

  • hahaha yup

  • I DIDNT NO THEY HAD ONE!!!

  • he has no MOUTH!!!!

  • brilliant video ! somone finaly recorded the full video!!
