Kathleen Turner is not a Maine resident nor should she be involved in this. I respect her opinion that she disagrees with the Senator, however, this is an issue that MAINERS will vote on. Mainers should decide based on what their fellow citizens have to say.

So if people don't live in your state then they don't have a right to have an opinion on what's going on in your state and voice that opinion? Hmm... guess all those people on both sides of the abortion issue who had lots to say about the law in SD should have kept their mouths shut, then? Dakotans voted on that law. No one else. So people in the rest of the country can't argue for or against it? Does that mean we should keep our mouths shut about oppressive laws in China too?

They do have a right to weigh in on the issue, but when celebrities are telling citizens how to vote, thats crossing the line. She probably didn't do any research on Senator Collins and was simply asked to give a celebrity endorsement. Yes we should have an opinion on what goes on overseas, i.e.: in China, that is if we get our facts straigh first.

Also, it's Senator Collins and President Bush. Show some Respect Kath!

Sen. Collins' up for re-election this year? I thought that the other anti-choice Senator from Maine, Olympia Snowe, was up for re-election this year.
