It's only been homologated as a customer-car for a privateer series and I doubt the factory or any motorsport team is going to develop the car for any of the major professional series. The fact that leading teams and privateers teams rarely/almost never use Mercedes chassis for racing seems to indicate they aren't very competitive cars in general. Don't know why it would be any different in this case.
