WOW =O, this is great :) also the comments & the description box were very useful :D. mind you a question sir, youtube compressor is mpeg4, in which format do you upload :? we used flv and it didn't work well :(
For uploading, more or less everything is covered - YouTube is v good indeed. No specific list of formats is required. If you read YTguidelines, they advise you to keep the original file, uploading the one you watch at home. YT takes nearly every video file type & they also advise you don't reduce. Personally I think YouTube automatic 720p reductions better than doing it first. But the streaming quality changes, depending on a number of things
... e.g. I don't get this film in as good quality as when it was first posted, maybe because of my I.P. address and that it plays when I bring up my YouTube page - so quality might be reduced to me (don't know). I wonder this because, watching on a computer somewhere else the quality was like it was first on my computer, but maybe that was a wonderful computer, I don't know.
Thank you. I love the music too. It's provided by YouTube, audio swap. But I can't find the original anywhere in The Web - and the same with the other album I looked for that I found in the YouTube audioswap list. If anyone has any details about the music by Eric Person, please comment.
I'm that Eric Person. This version is on my CD titled:"Reflections." The whole CD is available through cdbaby.com, and downloads at all the great download sites.
Hi to you, Mr. Person. It is really good to get your response, a lovely surprise. I really appreciated this music, though only a sample. The sample certainly had me wonder a lot more about its absorbing, very particular world, before I could find any links to the music.
Thanks a lot for popping in with some words. I hope this information helps people find your music. Good wishes to you.
Hello. I don't know. The original clip was in 1440 x 1080 pixels. YouTube made this 1280 x 720 version for streaming.
One night I downloaded a free trial of some video editor (I can't remember which one) which automatically reduced all of my travel videos on my hard drive from 1080p to 720p. So all of the originals are now in 720p. The original, unedited file of this clip says 50.2 MB. I don't know if the file kept the original 1080p size details, or if that is only after reducing to 720p.
... Yes, I thought the original 1080p was pretty lovely, + the YouTube reduction is nice. Some reductions don't go well, and most of the virtues of the budget 1080p camera clips can be easily lost in a reduction, even by the same method as other successful reductions incl. YouT,).
This cam has a lot of virtues in original 1080p filming. I've read of pro videomakers who are very impresesed with it. But it's not one of the super cams available which reliably make great 720 reductions.
If you are interested in the video camera (see camera details in video info., above right), this is a low budget H.D. camera. It is 1080p which gives good quality. I was choosing between this, the Toshiba Camilea Pro H.D., and Aiptek models, all budget recorders. The price is low - not much over 100 pounds, I think it can be cheaper still in The U.S.A. Find the Digilife U.S.A. website for info. (they say the world's smallest 1080p video camera). Really the only problem is stability.
<<< ...continued. ... However stability is a problem for many lower priced camcorders, where the quality really is worth watching quite seriously, but it's hard, even with 2 hands to make stable videos if you have to move. Search in YouTube about making your own steadicam attatchment. I haven't found this suggestion yet but it's possible also to house the camera, taking up very little extra space in a see through plastic (or other) box, open at front & sides, which carries the camera on springs.

that video is so clear. How big of a file size that short clip takes?
