  • you are really good but make sure u roll trough ur box.

  • tes pieds sont magnifiiique !!!

  • is that the tightest you could get the drawstring? It looks like the shoe isn't quite hugging your feet the way it should.

  • I love your feet!! I want them!!

  • Tienes muchísimo empeine!

  • you have such pretty, narrow feet

  • zaaaaaaaalig :D

  • make sure u don't go over the box but other than that good job :)

  • i.am.jealous.

  • your left foot is archier

  • your arches are crazy awesome! my feet are flat footed (i have no arches) except i started to develop them so they r about 1/4 the size of yours :) i started pointe this year

  • i'm a modern jazz dancer and i've been dancing for 11 years.I'm 13. Keep ur the good work :p

  • what brand of pointes are these? capezio?

  • you have a really nice arch but you just pop your feet onto pointe with out even using your calve muscles, I can tell you now, you will develop a serious implicational injury.

  • mute

  • OMG why the image goes up-down-up-down?!

  • To me your pointes look a bit too big for you.. Like the heel is way too big. It could be me or the video. Maybe you should ask your ballet teacher if they are the right size.

  • @xXxRoseyxXx3 I was just thinking the same thing! Seems heels and even front top loose when standing flat. Definatly check with your teacher. Arches are great! Be careful on new shoes away from the barr. As you prob. know they're slippery. I found that softening up my new shoes worked well believe it or not using a hammer on the soles a bit.

  • Do you use elastic? I just got pointe shoes and I am not quite sure if ribbons are all I need...

  • Im 15, and ive been dancing in jazz for 2 years now.

My teacher who teaches pointe ballet as well tells me i have very good arches, very strong ankels and a really good turnout.

I Practice ballet at home a few times a week, and i have been doing so for two years now.

    Could i go en pointe?

(Ive got videos and such on my channel)

  • @TheseLittleRoses To be on the safe side, get an x-ray of your feet. You need strong feet and toes, not just ankles to do pointe. I would start doing feet exercise and relieve before taking pointe classes.

  • @gnguyen411 Thank you for the friendly reply, the others are so harsh

I talked a little more about it to my jazz teacher, and im now taking private lessons after jazz class. (a hour once every week) She told me that about in a year i will be able to go en pointe. :)

  • @TheseLittleRoses iv been dancing since febuary and im 15

i did use to dance and 4 years ago but gave up....iv just bought my points and will be learning stuff on them very soon ask your teacher what they think

the only reason im aloud on point is because aparently im very strong throughout my pull ups and stuff so yeaah i would have a chat with you teacher :)xxx

  • You have beautiful feet, but make sure you get on top of your box on your right foot just as much as your left :) Check out my pointe video sometime? Thanks!

  • @dsp200907 no that is possible

  • You have strong ankles and beautiful arches. Jealous of your ankles!! You don't move like a beginner on pointes, so good job for controlling it :)

  • your vamp (peice of fabric from the tip of your toe to your foot) is a little big

  • Tu as un magnifique coup de pied ! :]

  • beautiful arch!

  • You have really cheep ribbons

  • @cucumers789456 and who cares??

  • I am 11 and I really want to do pointe she said I can work on flat pointe barre work how long do you think I should do that?

  • @crossfacecraddle29 Most places wait until you are about AT LEAST 12 to give you a thumbs up. This is because your bones are softer until that age.

  • Loving the song choice! Three Doors Down - Here Without You <3 P.s. You have gorgeous arch in both your feet <3

  • OMG your a beginner ??!!! I've been on pointe for 3 years and my feet are still bad (you can have a look onmy profile)

  • you have really good feet but i think you need some new shoes because when you go through demi-pointe the material is not supposed to move away from your foot

  • Your feet are really nice, but it looks like your shoes are dead.

  • your just gorgeous i love your feet and your dancing is beautiful I just started point and i have a question, my toenails are trimmed but whenever i go on point my toenails start to hurt would you know why?

  • @islandgirlkaitlyn your toe nails might just be shaped different. mine do that too, and they fall off a lot...i would recommend taping them, just until you get used to it. eventually you'll be able to cut them short enough. i would also recommend cutting them with a little v in the middle, because then they won't crack as easily. be careful with this though, don't cut your skin. but remember that pointe is not going to be comfortable, that's what makes it so amazing and special :)

  • your shoes look kinda dead

  • adoro esta musicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    beijos de thais

  • beautifulllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing Feet!

  • In your arabesque make sure you point your back foot :)

  • your feet are amazing an very good atriculation. beautiful

  • OMG. Your shoes, legs, feet, arches are GORGEOUS! Haha i'm so jealous :D

  • Nice, I've just got pointe shoes im 12 ive been looking at pointe stuff :)

    u got pretty feet

  • @unicornluver90 hey what did u have 2 do 2 get on pointe? i was suppose 2 get on pointe.

  • @omg1234352 well i had to practice.. turn out, umand i had to strenghthen my foot and my core muscles so i could lift up :D so yea

  • @unicornluver90 oh ok (:

  • You have nice arches

  • You have really nice arches but remember not to go over your boxt oo much, it can be really bad on your feet. Check out my videos and my channel:)

  • I am 13 and I just got my pointe shoes, I have been waiting for them my whole entire life it has been my dream but its really annoyinh bcause its like going back to baby classes because I can't do the things on pointe on what I can do on demi-pointe. Your really good and your video has helped me to get some excercises so I can do the things what I can do on demi-Pointe do on Point!

  • You should probably pull your drawstrings tighter. Yours shoes seem a little bit to big for your feet. They should almost be like a second skin.

  • i'd love to see pointe dance routines to music like this :/

  • Good arches, good plié. You may want to invest in a stiffer shank, especially with those arches. Keep up the good work. I see this video was from 2007, I'm sure you're much better now.

  • You Should Do what You did At 0:12

  • butifull im getting some

  • wow your feet are BEAUTIFUL!! i just started pointe and i look.....NOTHING LIKE THAT SOO JELous!

  • You are so good! congrats! i loved it! =D

  • just a question in reference to shanks but shouldn't the shank be not so stiff for a beginner so that our feet become stronger if the shank does all the work then how do our feet get stronger? just askin??

  • And now, some Point-ers from the likes of me--don't worry, that's as far as I'll go with the cheesy puns, babe. Camera-work's a bit shaky. "Blair Witch" like.

Maybe you should have used a tri-pod. It kind of ruins the atmosphere someone as "prima ballerina" as you could be. Your'e also a bit wobbly. But... keep at it.

Well, are pretty good. Coupe's nice...Love that fifth position! And you can certainly plie' with the best of them.

--Love From Another In The Wings, Dane Youssef

  • your arches are beautiful, but your shanks seem a little soft for a beginner. they should be stiffer for beginning pointe to help strengthen your feet. these seem more like my old (dead) pointe shoes which i can't really dance in any more because they are not supportive. i could be wrong but sometimes it seems like you're pushing over your vamp too far, try not to because you could really hurt yourself and it would be such a shame because i bet you are a really lovely dancer. :)

  • it's better if you get wider ribbons, they support your feet more. :)

  • u have beautiful feet. how old r u?

  • I cried when I watched this because I know I will NEVER achieve what you have

  • Very beautiful feet!! But...the shoes look like they may be a bit big? That's to me anyway. Wish I could dance like you! :)

  • Why are you leaning on whatever it is behind you?

  • Your feet are BEAUTIFUL!!

Do you mind looking at my videos??

  • que perfeito meu

  • how long do you have to dance before you can start pointe? i'm 14 and i used to dance ballet up until about third grade and i would love to start again, but not on pointe just yet.

  • @say3you3wont I do pointe and I'm 12 :)

  • @TheMyspaceroxable how long have you been dancing for? i probably wouldn't start pointe for a while if i started ballet again even if i remember most of what i learned...

  • @say3you3wont I've been dancing since I was five :)

  • Awesome song, good dancer. Is there anymore perfection needed?

  • For just a beginner your very good, just be careful though. I noticed you were rolling over your shank. That can be very dangerous for many reasons. It can cause you to lose balance easily and can put a lot of tension on your shins.

  • i started wen i was about 2 now im 14 still doin it love it

  • @torigirlful they dont teach 2 year olds pointe...it interferes with the development of their feet...why do you think the chick in this video been dancing since a child but is just a beginner in pointe?

  • @JennelleBelle i ment ballet not point srry

  • im 12 and i started when i was 11 and a half......im pretty good....but most girls are already on point at my age :( how old arfe you?

  • @Princesspointeballet Thaank you soo much! :D

its actually alot harder than i thought it would be haha!

Annd good for you! hope you have fun! <3

  • goede oefening!!! ik dans ook pas net op spitzen... ^-^

  • work on getting over your box on you right foot. your left foot is gorgeous!!(:

  • i HATE YOU CAUSE YOUR SO DAM GOOD AT POINTE lol jk but u really are amazing

  • are pointe shoes expensive? im not in ballet, but i really want to, im 16 but i probably will wait a few years until i actually take ballet classes because it sounds expensive...

  • @coleyoko94 Yeah I'm 17 and I reeeally want to take ballet, but don't have the money for it. :( I took some classes when I was little and loved it, but had to drop out because of money. But I hope to take it up again someday. There's nothing like it. It's hard work, and I was never on pointe, which I know is much harder, but it's amazing!!!!

  • @coleyoko94 heyy, i do ballet and trust me the lessons are'nt as exspensive as you think, my ballet lessons are £3.70 a lesson which is good, and my pointe lessons are £4.10, but thats just me, i dont think they are exspensive at all :) xx and your getting older now, and i would just suggest that now is the best time to start :) xx hope this helps! :) x

  • good for you girl! your doing good! (:

  • u r doing well i got my first pointe shoes last week!!!!!!=)

  • ok your amazing

  • beautiful exercicee!!

    good work

  • beutiful exercice

  • they look a little big but keep up the great work

  • What type of pointe shoes do you have ?

  • You look like a professional! I just hope i get as good as you :)

  • Tou look like a professional! I just hope i get as good as you :)

  • Beeautifuul (:

Im probably starting en pointe tomorrow :D

    Cannt waait <3

  • What type of shoes are those?

  • nice arch! (: iv been on pointe for a year now and I dont have that arch haha. Keep up the good work!

  • very very good....!

  • i just got my pointe shoes a couple weeks ago. i was just wondering if it is normal when skin bunches up between the bottom of the ribbon and the top of the heel. i noticed its a bit wrinkly when i go up. is this normal?

  • The strings need to be tightened on your shoes -they should not be gapping like they are. You have nice feet but should not do so many exercises where you are pushing over the shoes. Instead, work on strengthening your feet rather than stretching your arch even more. Your feet are so flexible due to your high arch that you're pushing out of the front of the shoes rather than pulling up out of them and aligning the bones in your feet and keeping the box flat on the floor.

  • i just got moved on to pointe, what kind of shoes should I get

  • @vesterm98 The brand of shoes you get isn't just something you pick, you get whatever works best for you feet. You can't just say "oh I am gonna get Grishko pointes" because you like how they look if they don't fit your feet right. Not all feet can work in all brands of shoes. :) Hopefully you find a pair that work wonderfully for you.

  • wow thats really good......

  • really beatifull feet.....you're good .;)

  • Does it hurt :> ?

  • wow you have nicely shaped feet.

they appear to be very strong(:

  • You have beautiful feet, but it looks like your leaning against something.. ??

  • @DanceBrookeDance100 thats because they are stretches. putting her full weight on a lot of the things she was doing could seriously hurt her.

  • @DanceBrookeDance100 uhm.. the wall, probably hahaha she did say she was a beginner at the time

  • I was just wondering. Are you holding on to anything!

I got my 1st pair of pointe shoe's,

    bloch Serenade Strong (: x

  • Grishkos are my favorite.

  • What song is this ? ahhaah sorry to break the chain in the pointe shoe talk x actually could you reccomend a brand i need a new pair :)

  • i use capeizo tendus ll

  • wow ur amazing. i just started pointe and i can barely stand does it take a while to get used to it? and what song is this?

  • r u holdin on 2 something?

  • i have those shoes, good ennt they???

  • i don't speak english but i hope i don't wrong:

can you say me the name of the song, please?

  • @elesol96 3 Doors Down - Here Without You :)

  • @BalletLoving Thank you so much:)

  • Wow, your feet look amazing! (:

Hey, ive been dancing for about a year now, so im waiting for my muscles to get stronger before i go en pointe. How long were you dancing for, before u started pointe work?

  • You're shoes here almost look broken. They seem very soft...also, I noticed you have a better turnout in your left leg. I am the same ^_^

  • they look a little too wide for your feet, but theyre gorgeous shoes. nice arch. keep working hard.<33

  • constructive critisism- put your foot in coupe instead of over your heel (the start of the vid), dont go over the box of your shoe and remember to close to a tight 5th.

  • you have really nice feet! now: some constructive criticism. 1. close all the way to fifth position every time you come off pointe. and 2. when you go to either passe or retire, keep your pinky toe (or big toe) attached to your leg, which will also help you when you turn. keep up the hard work!!

  • Beautiful arch and beautiful technique :D

  • wow.

I would kill for your feet.

I've been doing pointe for 2 years now, and I still use my first pair because I cant really afford new ones. but mine don't help my horrible feet. I can't get on my box properly. I'm getting new ones soon. any recommendations ?

  • @CassSmiles HOLY CRAP. I haven't had a pair of shoes for longer than two months. That really isn't good, you should talk to your dance teacher, my teacher will supply a pair of shoes a year to those having financial difficulties.

  • your like amazing!! please comment on my video so i can get as good as you?

  • if you want to keep your shoes clean put a sock over them

  • ahh i'm jealous of your feet!

  • do you recommend Grisko 2007 ???

i might get them next !

  • Do you like your shoes?I might be getting grishkos:D

  • @spotlightdancer1001 I'm just a biginner, but i LOVE my Grishko 2007's. they really fit my feet and flatter them perfectly.

  • at 2:32 it looks beautiful!

  • i love this song!!! =]

    and you're really good :]

  • Do you like these shoes? im about to get a pair of these and a pair of Ganyor's. Just a question are you holding onto something?

  • Do you have elastics on your shoes ?

  • way to spell pactice right

  • I think what would help is if u leaned in more on the insides of ur pointe shoes because there are at some points when u start leaning in on the outsides =) Also ur echappe needs to go out a little further and I know that this is when u first started but just for future reference =)

  • pointe shoes wear out quicker from bending them too far forward ( which looked like what was happening in the beginning) and strains the box and could hurt the dancer if over worn, but if you can afford to buy many pairs of pointe shoes then it doesnt really matter much :) sooo pretty and nice arches! wish mine were that good

  • you have really nice feet!!

  • you have amazing arches!

  • This is you when you were a beginner? Lucky you, My feet looked atrocious when I started doing pointe 2 years ago!

  • wow im sooooo jealous. I did ballet when i was a kid but then quit after 4 or so years, but if i continued i would definitely be on pointe by now. I really badly want to do ballet again but i'd be too far behind plus its too expensive. ):

But keep up the great work!!

  • Hi Guys!:) I might be going en pointe in August 2010, and i need tips!:) Please any tips o how to retain healthy no blistered feet:D I have kinda wide feet (NOT THAT WIDE THOUGH) and i need and tips on what kimd of pads to use!? I have beeen watching a bunch of videos on here , so i have a sorta sorta idea.THANKS SO SO SO MUCH! <3 spotlightdancer1001

  • how long did it take you to get on your pointe shoes... i really want mine!

  • Thats really good, I want ur arches . . so pretty (:

  • Just Remember You Little Ballet dancer :)

Pull Up Is he Most Important Thing Every Time You Go Up In A Releve Or Anything On Pointe Remember To Allways Pull Up. But You Should Do That Even When Your Doing Normall Ballet As It Is Really important andon Exams You can lose alot of marks for slouching :)

  • Tighten your drawstrings!

  • Very good for a beginner i've seen beginners who don't even fo all the way onto pointe, and your feet look beautiful

  • the stretches at the beginning arent safe for a beginner on pointe

  • @xschmushx good to know...

  • pretty feet and fairly good turnout :)

  • love your feets.

  • Your shoes aren't quite broken in in this video. But awesomely awesome!

  • great arch just work on demiu pleae

  • i am about to go onto my pointes in two weeeks and i am so excited about going on to them i have wanted to go onto them every since i saw the first ballet movie'centre stage the first one' and what type of pointe are they. u are amazing

  • what pointe shoes are these? and what brand? your preeety good (Y)

  • i dont know much about pointes but i do ballet and i am a boy but i can tell u need to tighten your shoes isn't that uncmfertable but just saying...xo

  • omg i hope those ar grishko kus thats what i have and i love them but russian point is also good

i sure do love them russians lol

  • Woww, for a beginer that's so great! Keep training hard (:

  • Your shoes are a tad loose, does that bother you? If not, then keep up the good work, but it could be problem if you don't find shoes that fit well.

  • for a beginner you are amazingly over on your shoe. amazing! ur really good

  • wow r those grishkos? i have their pro flex shoes, on full pointe, and theyre great. just remember to no over arch in the shoe or u'll kill the box, and they'll need replacing every few weeks.

  • I live in New Jersey, and I want to go on point. I'm 5 foot 7inches. But, i weigh a little more than I should. How much should I weigh to be on point!? Can you give me any advice or tips for loosing weight???

  • Comment removed

  • anyone with a strong foundation in ballet, strong enough feet and ankles, and a love for ballet can do pointe! professional co's are sticklers about shape and size, but i'm sure you could find a local independant school that would be willing to work with you just the size you are!! go for it, it's amazingly rewarding and fun!

  • not true.pointe work doesnt only have to do with length of training and the strength of your ankle/feet.you need to have a strong core as well,be up to par technically, be mature, andyou do hve to weigh a certain amoumt depending on your body so your feet can adequately support you...also not everyone's feet are cut for pointe work no matter hw long or hard they train....

  • you spelled pratice wrong
