  • Nice work , hope to see another video's like that !

    like it.

  • Awesome! Where was this shot? Looks like the Sacramento Valley.

  • The Ozone Ultralight is a wing that I would like to have in my arsenal. The K2 is a fine multi-purpose wing. I have flown it. Safety is almost ALWAYS a choice of the pilot's decisions. Start with what your instructor recommends and then move on from there.

  • Great video! Paul, what do you know about the Ozone Ultralight wing? Is it safe? I keep hearing the K2 is the only real safe wing to fly, and quite frankly, all the talk about all other wings being unsafe due to stalling or collapsing is scaring me away from flying. Especially all of the videos I see the guy "Flattop" making. Your input would be greatly appreciated, as I can't afford to spend the money on the K2.

  • Great Video Paul!

    Thanks for sharing. Blue Skies

  • Livin' the dream baby!

  • fucky yeah this guy is living!!

  • when did you start flying lol

     you hAD FUN

  • Yes. I actually fly SOMETIMES.

  • Great Video, Paul.

    Great video quality.

    Great camera location.

Did your leg get tired?? How did you hold it so steady? Did you have something to ait holdin you leg out but still allowed you to run for takeoff and landing?

  • I attached it to a post on my foot after take-off. The length of your leg isolates it from vibration and the wide angle lens reduces visible shaking.

  • P. Awesome as always. Do you have picture of that camera mount?

    Jiri

  • There's been so much interest, I'll have to make a video to explain my easy/cheap universal camera mounting system.

  • I've heard good things about the new Contour. Should work great for our purpose

  • I've got the 720p version, its pretty good but I am anxious to see how the 1080p one shoots.

  • hey im 1 of mr.vinings(john vinings) students and he told me 2 check out ur vid.s and there really good good job

  • Thanks dude.

  • One of the best PPG videos I have seen. Keep it up mate!

  • I appreciate that Nick.

  • Fantastic Paul.

  • Beautiful! Nicely done video, and I love the camera placement. Looking forward to flying with you sometime.

  • yea but if you went up and a freak cloud or something threw down some freezing rain would it mess with the chute?

  • Paul, Well done Mate. You recently posted some positive comments on videos I uploaded so it pleases me that I am able to do the same to you.I also have 2 GoPros coming soon.Fantastic little camera.Again, your work is great mate.

  • Really a great video well done.

  • Great Video Paul! looks like you are running out of gas :) Must have been a good flight!

  • Good eye. I actually DID run out of gas on that flight (had some gas left but the motor stalled because of all of the steep banking it was sucking up air when it sloshed around.

  • Totally loveit! , got some flying in yesterday and the best way I could explain what I feel would be this video.

  • Congratulations ! i like more your typical video clips, but great .

    Do not change !!

  • Wow, your brake lines are short !

  • Why do you say that ?

  • Oh, I think I see why you'd think that. The camera angle coupled with my habit of pulling brakes down AND forward (toward the camera), coupled with the distortion of the wide-angle lens. That's 3 factors. Also, I have a low hook-in point.

Notice, though, that my arms are comfortably bent at the elbows indicating (I hope) correct brake length.

Did you also notice that the horizon curves UP instead of down?

  • Excellent Paul I do love that camera and your shots of flying really show a lot.

  • who's having fun - Pauly is YAY

  • Great video Paul a little break from your typical genre but very nice.

  • Fantastic stuff, great angle. I love my GoPro Wide, still waiting for my HD.

  • Very nice , you convinced me to buy myself an engine for those days when the air is smooth....very nice.;-)

  • what would happen if you went up and went through an ice storm?

  • We don't go up when the weather is bad.

  • Great Vid looks like a great day
